Chapter 14: PickPocket

There it was, as I was now finally getting my chance. As I was now subbing in about half way through the 1st quarter. As it was that it seemed like Xavier felt like Brandon should get some more starting minutes than I had expected over me.
I still kind of felt like Xavier might be upset at me for some thing. But I just did my best to try to keep my self as calm as I felt like I possibly could, all at once, at that. As perhaps it was just the simple fact that it was that Xavier had not wanted to waste one of his 5 time outs, at that.
As it was of course, all at the exact same time as well, at that. That he did not have that many, all at the exact same time as well. And as soon as it was that the 2nd foul had come which was now a penalty foul. As they had in fact fouled Cody on a 3 point shot. Which of course, he had badly missed due to the fact that he had in fact been fouled, never the less.
I then did in fact just seem to start to see that it was that Xavier was now starting to make some substitutions, all at the exact same time too. As of course, I was coming in for Brandon, all at the exact same time too. As well as the fact that it was of course, that Oliver was now coming in for Zaire, all at the exact same time as well.
I kind of felt like I felt a little bit bad for Austin, as I knew that it meant that he was probably going to have to play the whole game. As it was of course, that he did not have his brother to back him up what so ever. As there was not really any one else on the team that could fill in at his role, except for perhaps Pearce, as that would mean we would have 3 big men on the court, all at the exact same time too.
Or we would have 3 small guards in me, Brandon, and Cody, all at the exact same time too. Which that did not sound good for us what so ever, all at the exact same time too. As I kind of just seemed to breathe in quite a bit of a rough sigh to my self, just as soon as it was that I had in fact just seemed to have thought on all of that, all at once, once again.
As it was that I had in fact just seemed to have stood there and stared for just a little bit more time, all at the exact same time as well. That was when I just then in the end, did in fact just seem to start get my self up from off of the bench, all at once. As I just then did in fact just seem to start to get ready to sub in, all at the exact same time too.
As just as it was that I was about to walk out on to the court, all at the exact same time as well. That was when I just then did in fact begin to start to suddenly hear the voice of Xavier. As it was that he just then did in fact just seem to start to speak on over towards me for what ever reason or another, all at once.
As I kind of just seemed to tilt my head a little bit to my self, all at once. As in the end, I just then did in fact just seem to start to go right on ahead, all at once, at that. And I then did in fact just seem to start to get my mind, and my focus off of all of the rest of those other thoughts, at that.
As it was that I had in fact just seemed to to have stood there and stared for just a little bit more time, all at the exact same time too. That was when in the end, I just then did in fact just seem to start to get my mind, and my focus on to him.
As I just then did in fact just seem to start to nod right back on over towards Xavier all at once. As I did in fact let him know that he did in fact have my full attention on to him. As it was that I had in fact just seemed to have even done as such a thing like that, never the less, once again.
As soon as it was that he had in fact just seemed to have began to have realized that it was in fact the case all of the sudden, at that. That was when he just then of course, he then did in fact just seem to start to continue to speak on over towards me. As I of course did in fact just seem to start to listen as to just what ever it was that he did in fact feel like he even needed to say on over towards me, all at the exact same time as well.
"Give em hell kid!" He said to me, as he did in fact have a big smile on his face, just as soon as it was that he had in fact even just said as to just what it was that he had even said to me, never the less, once again. As in the end, I just then did in fact just seem to start to go right on ahead. And I at first did in fact just seem to smile right back at him, all at the exact same time too.
But I just then did in fact just seem to start to know as to just what it was that I did in fact need to do next all of the sudden, at that. As I just then did in fact just seem to start to turn my head away from him, all at once. As I just then did in fact just seem to start to walk on to the court, at that. As I passed by my good friend Brandon, just as soon as it was that I had in fact just seemed to have done as such a thing like that.
As I did in fact tap him on his shoulder, as I could tell that he was already tired, all at the exact same time too. It was clear to me that it was of course, that he was not going to be playing all too much this game, at that. As I kind of just seemed to have gulped a bit to my self, all at once.
As I felt like at the very least, I had woke up this morning feeling more refreshed than ever. But I still had not been ready for the fact that I was about to play nearly a full game of ball, none the less. As I felt like I would not be surprised if I was not subbed out for the rest of this game, never the less, at that.
At the very least, it looked like, just based off of the fact that the score was an even 7 points for both sides, never the less. That it was of course, that this should not be an all too hard of a game what so ever. Since it was that their best player had in fact already been taken out, all at the exact same time too, at that.
As it was clear to me that they were more than likely done for the rest of the game, so long as it was that we at least made a fair amount of our shots, all at the exact same time too. As I felt like Cody was in fact going to be a good guy to pass to this game. As I felt like as long as he kept a some what hot hand, than we would surely make some 3s with him, at that.
As it was that I had in fact just seemed to have just got my mind, and my focus off of all of the rest of those thoughts, at that. That was when I just then did in fact just about get my self to the mid court line, at that. As I just then did in fact see that Cody's 2nd free throw was on the way. And it just barely hit the edge of the rim, before it then did in fact miss.
I kind of let out a bit of a rough sigh to my self, all at once. As I felt like it did not make all too much sense to me what so ever. As to how it was that he could be a some what decent shooter, all at the exact same time too. But it felt like he could not make a free throw to save his life, all at the exact same time as well, never the less.
As it was that I had in fact just seemed to have rolled my eyes a little bit to my self all of the sudden. That was when in the end, I just then did in fact just seem to start to get my focus on to the fact that it was, all at once. That the last free throw was in fact now on the way, all at the exact same time too. As just as it was that the 2nd one had in fact done, at that.
It did in fact hit the rim, all at the exact same time as well. Though this time, it did in fact seem like it was of course, at that. That it did in fact hit the back part of the rim, as it was that I then did in fact see the ball move forward. And then, the basketball did in fact just seem to stsrtt to go right on to the hoop, all at the exact same time as well, never the less.
As soon as it was that I had in fact just seemed to have seen it do as such a thing like that. Just as it was that Xavier had in fact told us to do, after each and every free throw that we did in fact shoot at that. They then did in fact all of the sudden just seem to start to run back on defense, at that.
As just as it was that I had in fact just seemed to have noticed as such a thing like that, all at the exact same time too, all at once. That was when I just then did in fact just seem to start to see that it was, at that. That they then did in fact just seem to start to blow past me, all at the exact same time too.
As I let them do that, as I did in fact stay at my spot that I was at, near the half court line, all at the exact same time too, at that. As I felt like I should at least some what get in the way of the point guard of the other team. As I felt like it would in fact throw them off, all at the exact same time too.
As it was that I had in fact just seemed to have began to have started to have realized that it was of course. That I was in fact doing as such a thing like that, all at once. That was when I just then in the end, did in fact just seem to start to let out a little bit of a soft sigh to my self. As in the end, I just then did in fact seem to suddenly speak to my self under my breathe, at that.
"Alright Trevor... This is where you show your self..." I said, as I cracked a little bit of a smile on my face, all at the exact same time too, at that. As it was that I then did in fact just seem to start to get my focus on to just what it was that was in fact even going on in front of me, at that.
As it was that I did in fact see of course, never the less. That there was in fact their guard going up the court with the ball, all at once, at that. As it seemed like he was not paying me any sort of attention what so ever. As I wondered if he was doing that on purpose to try to get in to my own head.
As to the fact that it was that he might be mocking me, as to the fact that it was that he felt like. I was too small for him to see me, all at the exact same time too, at that. How ever, I felt like I should not let it bother me all too much, all at the exact same time too, at that.
As I kind of just held my smile on my face, all at once. As it was that I did in fact seem to start to see him draw a little bit closer to me. As it was that I noticed that it was that he was not being too careful with the ball. As it was clear that he had not seen my film what so ever, at that.
As I just then did in fact just seem to start to go right on ahead, all at once, at that. And I just then did in fact just seem to start to all of the sudden reach in, all at the exact same time too. Which was a bit dangerous for me to do so early in the game, all at the exact same time too, at that.
But I knew that this was the most free of any steals I could ever get. As it was that it was clear to me that the guy was not paying me any sort of attention what so ever, at that. As I easily plucked the ball out of the air, as it was that he did a little bit of a soft dribble, all at the exact same time too.
As it was that I had in fact just seemed to have done as such a thing like that all of the sudden. I saw that shocked look on his face, as I just then did in fact seem to start to hear him speak. As I just then did in fact just seem to start to suddenly pick up the ball. As I then did in fact begin to start to listen to him speak as soon as it was that I had the ball in my hands.
"What the-" He seemed to have said, all at the exact same time too. As in the end, I just then did in fact just seem to start to all of the sudden see him, all at the exact same time as well. As he just then did in fact just seem to start to chase me on the fast break. As I could in fact hear his foot steps behind me, all at once.
As it was clear to me that I was not going to have an easy lay up what so ever, at that. As I just then did in fact just seem to start to run past the free throw line. As I felt like I was not going to act like this guy had done at the beginning of the game. As it was that I knew that I should not just expect an easy lay up.
As I just then did in fact stop my self right in front of the lane, as it was that I tried to fake a lay up, all at the exact same time too. In the hopes that it was that he would jump on me, and I could potentially get an and 1. Or at least a shooting foul, all at the exact same time too, at that.
How ever, as it was that I had in fact just seemed to have started to do as such a thing like that. That was when I just then did in fact just seem to start to go right on ahead, at that. And I just then did in fact just seem to start to see that the guy was now all on top of me, all at the exact same time too.
This was a very bad spot for me to be in right now, as it was that I did in fact realize it was the case. As I just then did in fact begin to start to curse to my self, all at once. As it was in fact a little bit under my breathe, at that.
"Shit... Some one come help!" I yelled, at the end, all at the exact same time too, as I knew that I was kind of trapped right now. And that he could easily get on to me, and that it could in fact be a jump ball, at that. Which would in fact go to their side, all at the exact same time as well. Which would ruin the fact that it wast that I had in fact got a steal, at that.
As it was that I had in fact just seemed to have stood there, and I had in fact just seemed to have stared for just a few moments more. That was when in the end, I just then did in fact just seem to start to go right on ahead, all at once, at that. And I then did in fact just seem to start to all of the sudden notice as to the fact.
That some one was already there to help me, as it was of course. That it was in fact Pearce, as it was clear to me that just now. That he was already sprinting down the court, just as soon as it was that he had seen I had stolen the ball, at that.
As he was in fact a hustler, and a very good athlete, as that was due to the fact that it was. That I did in fact know that it was that he was the star player on our football team, at that. As he was in fact a receiver of course, all at the exact same time too. As I kind of just seemed smile on over towards him.
As I saw that his eyes were wide, as he was in fact barreling straight down to the 3 point line, at that. As I knew as to just what it was that I should in fact do, at that. As I just then did in fact pass the ball straight through my defends legs, at that. As I had not really meant for it to be a flashy pass what so ever.
As it was more just the fact that it was that it was the best way for me to pass it to him, at that. As I just then did in fact just seem to start to see that it was, all at once, at that. That Pearce did in fact of course easily catch the ball. As that was to no surprise to me what so ever, at that. As I knew that I had watched his football high light tapes, all at the exact same time too.
As I just then did in fact just seem to start to see that it was that his eyes were fully on the basket. As it was that so had the other guy from the other team, all at the exact same time too, at that. As I kind of just seemed to gulp, as I looked at the man that had been guarding me, as I expected him to get in the way, such as it was that Alissa had in fact done earlier.
How ever, that just did not seem to be the case what so ever, all at the exact same time as well. As I just then did in fact just seem to start to see that it was, at that. That Pearce just went straight at the rim, with one hand up, all at once, at that. As that was the one that the ball was in, at that.
As I just then saw that to my surprise all of the sudden, at that. That he just then did in fact slam the ball straight in to the basket, as he then did in fact just seem to dunk the ball, at that. As my eyes just seemed to grow even wider that it was that they had in fact been before, all at the exact same time too, at that.
As it was that I did in fact actually hear the crowd roaring as to just what it was that they had seen. As well as the fact that it was that I had in fact heard Brandon from the side lines. As he then did in fact yell at the top of his lungs, at that. As I of course did in fact just seem to start to listen as to just what it was that he did in fact feel like he even needed to say just now.
"Let's fucking go Pearce! Get it man!" He seemed to have yelled, all at the exact same time as well, at that. As Pearce did in fact come down from the rim, as he did in fact have a big smile on his face as it was that he had in fact just seemed to have heard as such a thing like that.
As well as the fact that it was that he had in fact realized as to just what it was that he had done. I had my eyes wide my self, all at the exact same time too, at that. As I was starting to think that perhaps I was not the star of this team. But Pearce was, just based off of what it was that I had seen from him so far this game.
As it was that I had in fact just seemed to have stood there and stared for just a little bit longer. As my eyes were in fact still in a bit of some awe, all at the exact same time as well. That was when I just then in the end, did in fact just seem to start to go right on ahead, all at the exact same time as well, at that. And I just then did in fact just seem to start to just hear a ref blow the whistle, all at once, at that.
I was a little bit lost, as to just what it was that he was doing, at first. Until I just then did in fact just seem to start to turn my head on over towards the ref, at that. As I at first thought that it was that he was calling a foul or some thing, at that.
Until that was of course, that I just then did in fact seem to look over in that direction, at that. As I saw that it was of course, that the other team did in fact just seem to start to walk on ahead, as it was that they did in fact have their heads down, at that. As they were walking over towards the bench. As it was clear to me that their coach had in fact just called a time out, all at the exact same time too.
As soon as it was that I had in fact just seemed to have realized that it was in fact the case, all at once. That was when I just then did in fact just seem to start to go right on ahead. And I just then did in fact get my eyes back on to Pearce, all at once. As I saw that it was that the whole team was coming over towards him, at that.
As it was that I had in fact just seemed to have stood there and stared for just a few seconds. That was when in the end, I then did in fact just seem to start to put my hand on his shoulder. And I just then did in fact just seem to start to speak to him, at that.
As he of course did in fact just seem to start to turn his head around on over towards me, all at once. As in the end, he just then did in fact just seem to start to nod on over towards me. As it was clear that it was that he was letting me know that he was in fact paying his full attention to me just now.
As it was that I had in fact just seemed to have realized that it was in fact the case, at that. That was when I just then did in fact just seem to start to continue to speak on over towards him, all at once, at that. As I knew that it was of course, that he was in fact beginning to start to listen as to just what ever it was that I felt like I even needed to say on over towards him, all at the exact same time too.
"Wow Pearce... Great job man!" I said to him, all at the exact same time as well, at that. As it was that he did in fact at first have a big smile on his face, as to just what it was that I had in fact said to him. As of course he did in fact respect me as a team captain, all at the exact same time too. And I knew that it was that he was in fact happy to get a compliment like that from me, all at the exact same time too.
As it was that I had in fact just seemed to have stood there and stared at him for just a few seconds more time, all at once, at that. That was when I just then did in fact just seem to start to see that it was. That he then did in fact just seem to start to shake his head on over towards me, at that.
I was in fact a little bit lost as to just what it was that he was in fact even getting at, at first. I just then did in fact just seem to start to tilt my head on over towards him. As it was that I was completely lost as to just what ever it was that he was doing just now.
How ever, in the end, just as soon as it was that he had in fact just seemed to have started right back at me, all at once, at that. That was when in the end, he just then did in fact just seem to start to go right on ahead, as well. And he then did in fact just seem to start to speak on over towards me.
At first, I was a little bit lost by it, if it was that I was not going to lie to my self either, all at once. As in the end, that was when I just then did in fact just seem to start to go right on ahead, all at the exact same time as well. And I then did in fact just seem to start to nod right back on over towards him. As I of course did in fact just seem to start to let him know that I was in fact paying my full attention to him just now, never the less.
As it was that I had in fact just seemed to have done as such a thing like that, all at once. That was when in the end, I just then did in fact just seem to start to continue to hear his voice as it was that he spoke to me. As I of course did in fact just seem to start to listen as to just what ever it was that he did in fact feel like he even needed to say to me just now, at that.
