Welcome to last year's Nano attempt that I definitely didn't finish but still got pretty far in. So since I've got a pretty good backlog, I'm thinking I'll post twice a month until I've actually finished it offline and then move up to once a week. Now to decide which days.....TO THE WHEEL

Basically, I wanted to turn a couple tropes upside down. Arranged marriage trope? Check. Strong female lead being a warrior to save the day trope? Check. Childhood best friends being soulmates trope? Check.
As much as I love reading those, I wanted something different. I won't talk your ear off about it for too long since the explanation lies in the rest of the story.
