Summary: A) Harry has been acting weird lately. Ever since Voldemort died in his failed attempt at resurrecting, he hasn't been himself. He's irritable, borderline anger and has been having strange dreams of moon filled nights and running through the woods. He can hardly sleep at night and mornings annoy him. His love for the peaceful side of nature has increased as well. This is all so strange to him and he doesn't know why it's happening, but knows it can't be good for him - it never is. Hermione tries to help him, but her book smarts can only do so much. Neither can figure out what's going on with harry, unbeknownst to them...the answer will appear to them sooner than they think. The question is can they handle what's to come? Or will it overwhelm them both?
B) Voldemort is back. He's back and stronger than ever. With his return, everything begins to change. The most noticeable of all changes lies within Harry. He can barely sleep at night, spending most nights wide awake. He's more irritable - quicker to anger and more prone to snap at a moments notice - and to top it all off, when he does manage to sleep, he has been having strange dreams. Dreams of blood, wolves, and the moon. Because of this he's been so restless during the day and Hermione isn't the only one to have noticed. His rival and personal tormentor, Draco Malfoy, has as well and he plans to use whatever is bothering the boy wonder to his advantage. But what could be the cause of all this? And does it have anything to do with Voldemort? Read and find out.
Plot: A) Voldemort is already dead and with his death, something unknown and ancient awakens in Harry's blood. Something no one in the wizarding world knows anything about. Leaving it up to Harry, Hermione, and those closest to them that can be trusted to figure things out themselves - with some help from some adults of course. The main focus is on Harry and his newfound power. Set after fourth year and beginning of fifth year. Preferably the last month of 4th year and on, but that's up to you. Sirius still dies.
B) Voldemort has been resurrected, defying death once more and seeks to finish what he started - the subjugation of the wizarding world, the end of the muggles, and the death of harry james potter. He may have failed before, but he is confident he will succeed this time. What he doesn't know is that with his unnatural return, something ancient has awaken - a force of nature if you will. Old snake face has upset the balance of nature and this force with the aid of magic, decides to bring back a creature long gone from the world - a predecessor to a dark creature feared by many. And it just so happens that young harry potter is chosen to be the rebirth of this creature as he is the one destined to defeat voldemort in the first place. The main focus is on Harry and his newfound power. Set after fourth year and beginning of fifth year. Preferably the last month of 4th year and on, but that's up to you. Sirius still dies. Only one person can do after Voldemort is defeated by Harry, but before the epilogue.
Extra Details (Additional Info):
-Harry is a lycan - the original incarnation/ancestor to the werewolves. He has a tail unlike werewolves and several times better than them in every way. Though, he has a quicker temper and larger bloodlust.
-Lycans(Harry Verse): Are magical dark beast who are half man and half wolf. They or it - since there have only ever been one at a time, three in total including Harry. They are semi-impervious to magic. Meaning after getting hit with the same spell several times -5 to 7- it stops having any effect on them. They are truly immortal in the true sense and cannot die - killing curse included. (Harry still survived the first time because of his mother though.) Lycans are born, not created by bites and when one is born is at random. No one knows how they came to be exactly - they speculate they came to be when there was only magic alive and nothing else. They have extreme bloodlust and very short tempers - not towards all things, but most (75%). They cannot create more lycans with a bite, only stronger versions of werewolves - which they are 3 times stronger than, while the werewolf they created is 3 times stronger than your average werewolf - Meaning the thing Remus turned into - and are still two times weaker than the Lycan that made them. (Though, Harry can make lycans, but only a limited number - 2 or 3.)
- Their venom is extremely deadly killing people they bite 90% of the time when not compatible with it. The 10% that don't die, 5% is compatible with the virus so they take to it easier with less pain and difficult, but still hurt and the other 5% that survive but aren't suffer agonizing pain as their body and the virus adapt to each other.
Weaknesses: Silver does hurt them severely, but can't kill them. Fire is a mild weakness.
*How a Lycan is born outside of the way I gave which only applies to Voldemort is alive scenario is up to the challenge taker. As are and other weaknesses besides what I gave to Lycans.*
World: Similar to canon. Werewolves are considered dark creatures and there is a divide between them and wizards & witches. So, since Lycans are a rare phenomenon and not much is known about them, not many know about them and they are feared even more than werewolves.

* I also know that some people like to make the Dursleys pay or repent - I'll only allow redemption for Dudley because he's still a child and can learn. His parents - not so much, especially Vernon.*
* You can also change pack members 6 to 10 if you wish to, excluding 9. Neville has to remain if you make Harry a pack. The pack isn't mandatory for the story - well except the harem option really. You can also leave the pack as it is as well. I just put the first people who came to mind there.*
*Voldie lives = Lycan is power he knows not. This does not change how he acquires said power though.*
*The first time Harry transforms has to be the same night Hermione finds out about what's going on with him. How she finds out is up to the challenge taker. If she follows him when it happens, he has to end up chasing her back into the school, where they are 'confronted' - really it's more of running into while they scheming - Blaise, Draco, Theodore, Gabe, and Goyle - on Draco's orders. This is for both versions if you decide to use this suggestion. What happens when the confrontation is up to you and depends on whether you make the pack or not and what pairing you pick for the story. And with Draco or the others in it means you obviously can't kill them off after all.*
