We had been walking a little over two hours, K's body was warm enough to keep away any frost bite. We approached an abandoned clothing store, it's windows were cracked in some spots and missing in others. The wind whispered meaningless sounds to me as K strolled into the building with me still slung over his shoulder. I turned my head to face K, he was looking around for any shops that still had clothing, locating a small store room in the basement below a winter sports store.
~mini time skip to inside the basement~
The basement was large, but the store room was easy to find as it was the only door left shut. K stabbed the door with his tail before letting it coil and pile up back on the floor. The door flew open as he kicked it, the room let out a cloud of dust that made me sneeze. K jumped a little, giving me a terrified glare. I forgot that he had never heard a sneeze before, he must have thought I was letting out my last breath or something. I started giggling at the face he was making, he just sort of gave me an insulted look.
"You're mean." K grumbled at me.
"Its not my fault your a dumbass, for a guy who lived with me for a while, you sure are oblivious" I barked, trying to hold back laughter.
The room was full of winter coats, puffer vests and long sleeve shirts of all kinds. K let go of me and I began to search the room for some warmer things, we ended up leaving with a large bag of clothes and a new outfit and coat.
As we walked up the stairs there were voices from above us. Someone's here.A/N
