He said it back.
Charlotte stared down into his eyes for a few moments because she thought she didn't hear him right.He smiled a little at her reaction and stroked her cheek with his thumb
"I love you Charlotte...I have ever since you first shook hands with me"he whispered.She felt so many emotions charge at her all at once.
She didn't understand what to do except put her lips back on his again.She put both her arms locking them around his neck.He held her waist again stroking her back softly.
Her hair fell to the side of his face leaving a tingling sensation on his skin.He could never imagine his life to feel so unreal at this moment
They moved their lips in sync with one another just like they always were,wether it was in a fight or with Claire
She gasped pulling away from him all of a sudden.He opened his eyes again
"What happened?Is everything alright?"his instincts replied
"The food"she said with wide eyes.He let out a laugh as she pulled away and rushed out of the room into the kitchen
Six walked behind her putting his hands into his pockets.
"Did she burn it?"Claire who was sitting in the living room reading a book asked.Six shrugged his shoulders
"No I did not burn it"Charlotte replied walking into the room
"But close call"she sighed wiping her hands on a cloth.
"What were you too even doing?"Claire asked.Six and Charlotte looked at each other
"Working"Charlotte replied quickly
"Yeah we were working on....uh yeah"Six stammered.Claire put her lips in a thin line and nodded
"Alright.Uhm also I have to ask you both something.My school is offering a summer camp in the mountains and so if I have your permission I would like to go"Claire said.Six nodded
"Okay"he said
"What?No!"Charlotte refused.six and Claire both looked at her with furrowed eyebrows
"Six are you seriously agreeing with this?"Charlotte whispered scolding him
"Claire excuse us please"he said and held her hand taking her into the kitchen
"Six it's not been long since Lloyd.We need to be extra careful about her safety now"
"That doesn't mean we can hold her here forever Charlotte"he replied calmly smiling at how worried she got
"Six...it's a fresh wound"she sighed
"Exactly.And we need to give it time to heal Charlotte.And it won't if she's kept here.Besides...maybe she'll get her mind of Fitzroy"he holds her hands.She looks away knowing that she was worried and scared for her
Six brings his hands to her chin and slowly raises it up.Her eyes travel up to his and he could feel his breathing stop
"God I hate it when you're right"she huffed tiredly.Six smirked through the corner of his lips coyly
"When am I not"he says and she slaps his shoulders.
Claire walks out of the car and so do six and Charlotte.Charlotte smiled at seeing Claire's classmates looking at her car with wide eyes
"Show off"Claire teased and she shrugged.Charlotte gave her her belongings and bag.
Claire hugged Charlotte tightly and she bent down a little and kissed her forehead.
