Pepper stood their wide eyed. "Watch out." she cried.
"Run!" Tony and Gene yelled.
The dragon growled at them as Pepper cried a horrified scream.
"Pepper! Long! Move!" Tony yelled as they ran towards them.
Long without a moment of hesitation pushed them out of the way in the nick of time as the dragon bit into the air. It roared in agitation as it circled around them.
"Pepper! It's after the rings! Throw them to me!"
"If I give you the rings, it'll go after you! And can't he use them." Pepper said pointing to Long.
"No thank you. Even though I'm allowed to do this test doesn't mean I can use the rings. If anything, this is a test for me to see if I can trust my master. Which I do." Long pointed out.
"Just do it!" Gene cried out.
Pepper looked around before throwing it. "No!" Gene cried before the dragon roared eating them.
"Oh great. We no longer have the rings until we've completed the test. Which I'd presume the dragon is destroyed and all that's left of it are the rings. Until then..." Long cried out in anger, "We're dead?!"
"What have you done?" Gene asked angerly.
"Maybe... maybe it'll leave us alone now?" Pepper said.
It roared as the four came together. Long saying, "Doubt that."
"Or maybe not." Pepper said as the dragon roared at them.
Time skip
Tony ran pushing Gene out of the way as the dragon walked along before trying to strike as the pair jumped out of the way.
"Tony! Gene! Long!" Pepper said pointing behind them from off to the side. "It's coming back!"
It roared as they turned to look at it as they ran for cover Gene and Pepper begging the first ones in followed by Tony. They turned to see the dragon on Long's tail.
"Move, along! Now!" Gene commanded.
Long jumped into the cover just as the dragon tried ramming its head . Rocks began to crumble as the dragon moved its head back and roared in annoyance.
"So, does anyone have a plan?" Pepper asked.
"Not since you threw the rings in the dragon's mouth!" Gene spoke angrily.
"Hey ! It seemed like a good idea at the time." Pepper said.
"Will you two be quiet?" Tony turned to the other two as Long looked at the room where the dragon was, "We have to pass this test! It wants a sacrifice an offering or something. Now think!"
"Someone needs to be eaten." Long muttered.
A violent shock occurred as the dragon rammed its head towards them as it roared.
"Tony..." Pepper said in a hush voice.
"It's okay. It's gonna be okay." Tony replied back.
Pepper shrieked as it continued pushing them back until they could feel the wall behind them. It roared again.
"We aren't gonna make it."
"Yes, we are." Stark spoke with a determined voice. "I'm gonna get us out of this."
"How?" Pepper asked as Tony walked out.
He stood there determined before feeling a claw on his shoulder. He looked up to see the makluan servant standing there looking down at him with a small smile.
