I hear the front door shut and I know it's Morgan carrying the rest of our boxes out of his car.
"I'm in the kitchen baby." I call out to him and he comes into the kitchen looking devilishly handsome with his blonde locks sticking up in all different directions. I smile at the boy who's made a home inside my heart.
It was Sunday. I was wearing a yellow summer dress and I had on bright pink lipstick which I found at the bottom of a box. My red hair up in a braided bun.
Me & Morgan were just moving our stuff in into our new apartment, or so I thought.
"We need to talk." He says as he stands across me on the kitchen island. I approach him and quickly plant a peck on his cheek and go into the living room to find only all of my boxes unloaded.
"Hold that thought babe, where's all your stuff?" I ask him with a smile, totally unknowing that that was the last genuine smile I would have in a long while.
He comes closer and he makes me face him. "What's wrong?" I ask when I finally sense something off.
"I'm leaving you."
