The Malfoy Family

Wedding Bells pt.1

The butterflies in Hermione's stomach fluttered through her stomach as she gazed upon her daughter in the mirror. Myra was dressed in a the most beautiful dress Hermione has ever seen and she could not help the tears that escaped from her eyes. Myra had insisted that she design her own wedding dress and that she would even make it herself. She really had inherited her mothers creativity and she could not have been happier because it made the dress even more special. As Myra stood there having her makeup touched up by Lilly, Hermione sat on the sofa fidgeting with her hands as she waited.

"What do you think Mum?" Myra asked as she turned around looking at her mother.

"It's lovely Myra. I am so happy for you and James. The both of you as so lucky to have each other."

"Mum please don't cry"

"I can't help it I always knew this day would come. I just imagined it so much differently even before you and your brother were born."

"What do you mean Mum?"

"Before your father proposed to me I had always dreamed of what it would be like when I would see my first child born. I imagined that your father and I would be together and that our child would grow up with two loving parents giving them the best life any child could dream of. All I ever wanted was to give any future child of mine the life I nor your father ever had. I never wanted for my child to want and feel unloved."

"That is exactly what you did Mum even if it was not what you had originally wanted look at me and Leo we are so happy and now that our family is whole again we are even happier. I could not have asked for a better life, I am who I am today because of the choices you made. I am where I am today because of the decisions I have made for myself." Tears began to fall from Myra's eyes as she looked directly at her mother who also had tears in her eyes. 

"Alright girls its time to start this wedding" Harry announced from the doorway.

"Do you happen to know where my Dad is Uncle Harry?"

"I think he is finishing up his tie then he is headed here."

"Thank you." Before leaving Harry crossed the room and placed a sweet kiss on Myra's forehead then turning to find his place in line with his wife. When Draco arrived into the bridal suite Myra was pacing the room fidgeting with the ring on her finger.

"What's the matter My?"
"Nothing Dad just a little nervous I guess."
"Hey you are  marrying someone you love and who loves you just as much. You have already made a family together now all that is left is to tie the knot. You will always have people there for you now matter what. Your Uncle's, Aunt's, Your brother's, your friends, your mother and I, but most importantly you will have James right by your side."
"Thanks Dad"

"No problem My. Now then no matter how much it pains me to say this lets go and make you a Potter."

"Malfoy-Granger-Potter. Although it will more than likely just be Malfoy-Potter. After all I just got the Malfoy name as well and I'm not quiet ready to part with it yet."

When the doors opened and Myra and Draco entered the entire room became a blur all Myra could hear was her father's voice in her head saying everything would be alright and the faint sound of the piano playing. As Myra made it closer to James the smile on her face became even wider knowing that this is what she always dreamt about. This is how she imagined her wedding day all the way down to her father being the one walking her down the isle. The ceremony was a complete blur to Myra because all she could think about was how happy she was that her family was complete and how she was now married to her best friend.

I am so sorry it has taken so long from an update life has been kicking my ass. Between graduating, working, college, and my metal health I completely forgot about the story. I would love some suggestions on plans for future chapters. I have hit a ton of blocks and could really use some reader suggestions so that you all feel like you had a part in the writing. I want this to be a story that you all create.
