Sonic's POV:

After I got Shadow his victory Chinese food, Chicken Broccoli with white rice, we went up to my room, changed into our pj's and sat down on the bed. As Shadow started to eat, I started to explain why I didn't introduce Scrouge.

"Hey Shadow?" He tilted his head to the side, his mouth full of food.

"You see, I'm not allowed to go into certain rooms without permission of the rooms owner. And one of those rooms is Manic's room, one of the reasons being that Manic says I'm too messy and might mess up things in his room. You with me so far?" Shadow, nodded his head, and put more food in his mouth.

"Ok. So, Scrouge is usually in Manic's room, and unfortunately, he was in Manic's room when you arrived, so I never got to introduce you to him."

"Why couldn't you just-"

"And get hit by one of Manic deathly drum sound waves? Nah!" Shadow paused for a moment, and then just shrugged his shoulders, not wanting to push the conversation further.

"You finished with your food?" Shadow nodded.

"Great! So, now our next order of business. What kind of character Scrouge is..." Shadow hugged his knees with his arms as he began to listen to me talk about Scrouge and how much of an ass he is.

•The Next Morning•

I woke up, fluttering my eyes open to see Shadow, cuddling me in his sleep. I smiled softly, and slowly gotta out of Shadow's grasp so could start getting ready for the day. I got up from the bed, and looked at Shadow's face. He looked very frustrated that he wasn't holding me anymore, so he grasped one of my big fluffy pillows instead. I chuckled softly at what he did, and quietly tip-toed to our closet, so I could get dressed.

After, I walked out of the close, and noticed Shadow was still sleeping. While I was staring at the sleeping ebony hedgehog on my bed, I started to notice small things about him.

Like the way his ears would flick quickly to the side, everytime something would move, I guess so he could always know what his surroundings were, and where he was, in his sleep! And how he drooled on the pillow while sleeping. And also, how he was using both a leg, and an arm while hugging the pillow. All of these small things, they made him look so, innocent and cute...
