Den stood up as Mae got in and said. "Oh! Look who's here?"

"Oh, Den just came here for a moment, he'll go home soon." Rose said.

"No, let him stay while I make snacks for the two of you" Mae said winking at me.

"I'll help?"

"No, you guys do your business there."

"Um... Sure."

"So, what do you wanna do?" Den asked.

"It's kinda awkward, because, I don't feel kinda good today." Rose said as she sat on the couch with Den leaving a big gap between.

"Don't worry, I'll fix that." Den said, moving closer and slowly putting his arm around her.

"Let's play truth or dare? You go first." Rose said feeling more comfortable.

"Truth."

"So, I'll ask you the most common question. Who's your crush?" Rose said as she gently pushed Den against her. Leaving some gap between. Both looked face to face.

"Well. My grirlfriend, Victoria."

"Oh..." Rose said with her sad voice.

"Something wrong?"

"Nah, it's nothing."

"Oh, seems there's something wrong about you. Are you jealous???" Den jokingly said with his pride higher than Mt. Everest.

"Me? Pshhh, no way! Dont feel too good to yourself." Rose lied.

"Okay your turn."

"Dare."

"I dare you to be my ultimate best friend. You know, the one that knows everything?"

'Jeez, this guy must he gay. Ha ha. Don't even think about it Rose. Seriously, best friend? A cool man longing for a true best friend??? Eh, it won't hurt anyways' Rose thought to herseld

"Even your deepest secrets?" Rose said, raising her right brow.

"Yeah."

"Let me ask Mae about that." Rose said as she went to the kitchen and whispered.

"Hey, he dared me to be his ultimate bestie. What do you think of that?"

"That would be good. If I'll be your number one."

"Why should you not be my number one? You were always there for me. And you're always the number one since third grade."

"Yeah, go ahead, tell him I allowed you to be his bestie... And oh, bring these." Mae said as she gave her the tray with the snacks she bought.

"Wow! You really made these?"

"Nah, just bought it in the 'Fat Restaurant' get it?"

"What are you even talking about?" Rose said as she slightly smiled.

"I'll tell you about it later. Now go, he must be hungry."

"Yeah, sure. Thanks bud!"

Mae smiled as she went to their room, watching anime.

"So. What did she say?"

"It's cool. I mean, she said it would be fine. If she will always be my number one." Rose said, putting the tray on the coffee table.

"That's great!"

"Yeah, I know right?" Rose said as she sat on the couch.

"So, your turn?"

"Truth, well. I'm not KJ (kill joy) but, I just want you, to know more about me and me, know more about you."

"Why did you took me to the ball instead of your girlfriend?"

"We had a misunderstanding that night and got no time anymore. So I took you on a date."

"Wait, it was a date?!"

"Well, something like that." He looked at her and grin.

Rose blushed so hard that her face turned rosy red.

"Hey, you look cute." Den chuckled.

"What?! No!" Rose said, covering her face with a pillow. Den laughed.

"Seriously, that's cute. Don't ecen hide it, it looks better on you"

"Okay stop saying that!" 'What the heck Den, you're killing me!'

"Of course."

"Now your turn." Den added.

"Truth."

"Who's your crush?"

"The current or the present crush?" Rose asked.

"Present."

"Ummm. This is hard to say." Rose doubt whether to tell the truth or not.

"Oh come on, say it."

"YOU!" Rose yelled as she covered her face.

Den laughed.

"Girl you're weird. But I like you."

"You have a girlfriend right?"

"Oh you're thinking it the wrong way. I like you because you're awesome! Not this crush stuff, you know."

'Errr! What a shame! What a shame!' Rose thought.

"But that's okay, it happened to me once." Den added.

Both talked about their lives for a couple hours.

"Yeah. I think you need to go now." Rose said.

"What time is it?"

"11 pm."

"Oh! Really I need to go now! See you tomorrow?"

"Yeah sure. Bye!" Rose said as they went on the porch.

"Bye" Den said as he bid goodbye and went to his car and went home.
