Chapter 1 ~ run

Skylar's POV
Gotta find some where safe. I kept running until I found a small cabin I ran in to it I didn't care if there were limpers in there. finally I can catch my breath. There's no limpers in here that weird but just in case I should check all the rooms. I checked all the rooms still nothing. there was a couch in the corner of the room I walked over there and say down I opened my bag to see what I had in there I water bottle half empty with water some berries and nothing. wait there's a kitchen in here I walked to the kitchen and found 4 granola bars and some more berries what ever food is food. I was walking back to the couch and heard something that sounded like crying I walked towards the noise it was under a bed I got down on my hands and knees and I saw a little girl.
"Hi"
"Ahhhhhhhh"
"No no don't scream I won't hurt you come on out don't worry I will protect you."
The little girl came out from under the bed tears streaming down her face.
"Hi I'm skylar what's your name?"
"Olivia my name is Olivia"
"Olivia how old are you?"
"10"
"What happened to you did you have parents?"
"Ya I had parents but I watched them die by those monsters I was in here and they went outside to cut some fire wood and I watched them die right in front of me."
"Oh Olivia I'm so sorry, but I'll be here to protect forever."
"Thank you."
Olivia jumped up and bear hugged me then when she let go I saw something blood red under her arm.
"Olivia are you hurt!"
"What no."
"What's that red thing."
"My moo shroom from minecraft."
"Is that a video game?"
"Ya"
"I've never played video games before."
"Ok well we don't need to care for video games anymore."
"Oh, Olivia do you have any weapons or do you know how to use them?"
"Um I have a gun and a knife I know how to use the knife but I don't know how to use the gun."
"Well we need to get some get some ammo do you know if there's a strip mall over here."
"Actually I do there's one not that far away."
"Ok can you show me where it is."
"Yep follow me."
We walked out the door and there was one limper trying to catch a squirrel when Olivia ran up to it and stabbed it in the head and I ran and caught the squirrel.
"You know how to use that knife pretty good don't you, I caught the squirrel for us to eat, now let's go to that mall."
We walked 3 miles until I saw the mall it was huge, we walked to the front entrance and I saw a few limpers walking around in there so we walked got in we cleared the first level when we saw a hunting store."
"Perfect go into that store Olivia."
We ran in when a giant swarm of limpers can from out side and into the mall I ran to the casher and grabbed the keys and locked up the store.
"Olivia we will wait till the swarm goes away ok."
"Ok."
How was the first chapter people good? The next chapter will have different point of views just I wanted to get this out first.
