IQ Test

Five. She woke up at 5 in the morning to talk with her beloved. They haven't call since he left as she returned home late last night. Tae must be getting ready with his day so she decided to call before he gets busy. He picked up her call, an instant smile covering his face. Greeting each other, they talked about their day.

"Today I've to meet with their finance team. I have two site visits and three meetings."
"Are you eating well? No skipping meals remember?"
"Of course, how can I forget the rules?" he teased.

"What are your plans for today?" he asked.
"I'll go to office for reviewing few documents than Jin asked me to hangout for the day."
"Sounds good. Ok love I've got to go, let's talk at night. Have fun."

Ari fell asleep right after and woke up at 10, she was missing the warmth next to her. She directly had her lunch and went to office.

Jin was grinning, with an obvious smirk on his face. Ari knew he was up to no good.
"What are you planning?"
"Let's do a prank."

"Jin, we have already talked about this."
"I know and trust me, it's harmless. In fact, it'll be the most innocent one from all the ones we did."

That made her ears perk up, she won't deny that she missed to have fun too. She did grow up but sometimes she just wants to go back and relive few moments. Questioning to whether go with the plan Jin told.

"Come on, my tigress, it'll be refreshing and Tae won't get even a hint about it."
"Oppa, stop calling me that." She looked at Jin who was looking at her longing as to what her decision will be. Whether it was the pleading eyes, her own desire or in the heat of the moment she agreed.

"Listen everyone, may I've your attention please." Ari said to the interns of the 30th floor.
"The CEO told me to inform you all that there will be an IQ test taking place for you all soon. The test will be your ticket to either stay or leave. Let's work hard and good luck."
There was no real test, but the look on their face, how every intern was frightened for their job.

She felt excited, but also bad when she saw some of the interns studying even in cafeteria, how did they even believed her, why would a company remove people who are already recruited and that too on the basis of a test which has no relation with their profession.

She got all dressed up waiting for Jin, as the said man told he'll come to pick her up. When the familiar car came into view, she knew it was him but there was someone else too, someone she calls her best friend, her roommate, Ji Hyun. She immediately got down from the vehicle and hugged her.

"Hey, what a surprise!"
"I know Jin called me to get ready, now I get what the surprise was."

The two friends haven't met for quite some time due to busy schedule. Ji Hyun, she is her friend and dorm mate from college. They both enrolled together in the course together but Hyuna realized later that she was more interested in arts and gathered the courage to talk to her parents to change her profession. It was hard at first, it took a lot to convince them but with the support of her friends and dedication towards her goal she made it through.

Both Ari and Hyuna played an important role in each other's life, from starting as roommates, batchmates, and eventually after getting their jobs they decided to live together and got their own apartment.

During the car ride, they both continued chatting like they haven't met for ages, not even realizing how long has it been only when the car came to stop. A stadium came into view, the exact same stadium where BTS concert is taking place. Now one thing was clear to Ari that they were here to watch the performance but the question is how? They didn't have any tickets.

"Are we sneaking our way inside?" she asked.
"Why would we do that when we have the VIP tickets?" Jin said with a smirk on his face.

Both of them were shocked, they can't believe their wish is finally coming true, they've waited so long for this day.

"Why are you guys so shocked? Come, we don't want to miss out on anything now, do we?"
Honestly, Jin expected it. Tae already told him how surprised the girls will be. They were still in a daze, in doubt if it's all real. He dragged them both to their seats.

Ari was in a dream. All the members looked like they came straight out of heaven, literal angels she says. But Jin thinks they were bit exaggerating especially when they called the eldest member 'world wide handsome', he is sure that he looks better than him but of course he won't say it out loud.

They sang all the songs along with them, holding the ARMY bomb in one hand and waving the other, making hearts when the members walk near to the edge of the stage. When the members blew kisses, she almost faint.

Sweaty, teary as the show got over so soon, but still with the same excitement they walked towards the exit.
"This is the best day of my life." Ari said voice hoarse after shouting 'Jungkook Oppa Saranghaeyo' every time he was shown in the display screen.
"I know right, also they looked so handsome even in real."
Jin was walking right behind them, snickering when they talked like love sick girls.

"When I saw Namjoon's dimples, I almost lost it" Hyuna said.
"I'd go down on my knees only from V's stare" Ari said.

Jin coughed from behind, "Now girls, it's good to hear that you had so much fun but Ari let's not forget you are committed to my brother."

At that she rolled her eyes, "Come on Jin Oppa, you know how much I adore him."
"Yeah of course, she would say that, she knows she have no chance with any of the members."
Ari muttered that's true and said, "I really want to know their skin care routine."
Hyuna agreed immediately so did Jin.

"Anyways did you guys have fun?"
Instead of a verbal answer they both just hugged Jin and said 'thankyou'.
"The person who truly deserves this gratitude is not me" Jin said.
They both got confused, then Ari figured it out,

"Did Tae tell you about our love for BTS?"
"Quite right. He told me how he wanted to surprise you, he planned it before months, not only that he knew you would enjoy it more with another fan so he got both of yours tickets."

Ari was feeling overwhelmed, she could literally cry from the affection her man showed towards her even when he is not here. That night when she video called him, she told him how happy he makes her, how thankful she is and lastly how much she misses him and got emotional. But that got cut short when Tae asked him about the members. She described him about them all taking her own sweet time.

If Tae was being honest, he kind of felt jealous when he heard all about Jungkook's abs but he knew she was just fangirling. Afterall he himself agree they were talented and respected them for who they are. They ended the call around midnight for which Ari gave a reason that she won't be able to wake up early, truth being something else.
