Finishing off some outstanding work once your father had left you to the vicinity of your office—there was no doubt that you were running late for your meeting at the cafe. And the traffic that lined the busy streets of Seoul clearly wasn't helping. Hurriedly you make your way into the cafe where you had been instructed to meet Taehyung and Jimin. You hastily check the time on the Apple Watch that adorns your wrist. It was already 1:40 p.m, you were late, late.
Skimming through the unfamiliar heads that were scattered across the posh café, you try to find two familiar heads-at which you succeed in once your eyes lock with Taehyung's eyes. He shakes his head, tapping a finger on the Rolex that wrapped around his wrist. You slouch a little in guilt, mouthing a 'sorry'. You walk to where you see Taehyung seated with Jimin and as you walk closer—you're revealed to a gorgeous woman sitting opposite of Taehyung on the circular glass table.
"I'm so sorry I'm late," you apologize, adjusting the white blazer that hung from your arm.
"It's fine, we were running late too, we only got here a few minutes ago," Jimin reassures you.
You glare at Taehyung for making you think you were late, he gives you a smug look.
Turning away from Taehyung you move your attention to Jimin.
"Iseul, this is Y/N," he introduces you to the said woman as she smiles. "Y/N, this is Iseul, my fiancée."
She really was gorgeous, absolutely stunning, you had to say. You smile at her, extending your hand for a handshake, she reciprocates your smile, gladly taking your hand into her own.
"It's a pleasure to meet you," you say to her.
"Tone down the formal tone a little, maybe Ms. Y/L/N," Taehyung almost laughs at your professional tone while talking to Iseul.
You roll your eyes, "yeah, yeah, it's a habit, what can I say?"
Finally allowing yourself to take the empty seat next to Iseul, you decide to engage in a conversation with the woman, while the two brothers sitting across you continue to talk about whatever business talk they were engrossed in.
Throughout the course of a twenty minute conversation with the woman, you learn a lot about her. She's not only kind and well mannered but also highly educated, currently still studying to receive her M.D to become a neurosurgeon. Her family is very well off, her grandfather was in possession of a hospital and left that for her father before passing away. Both her parents are in the medical field and earn quite high paying salaries. You have a faint memory of her parents now that you think of it, you've seen them a few times at parties and events arranged by Taehyung and Jimin's parents—establishing the fact that they probably knew them fairly well. And considering that their daughter was this appealing, it made sense that they choose her for Jimin, and that Jimin agreed to it most importantly.
