Paula sighed and said," First things first, let's all find a place to sleep since we're gonna be here a while so follow me." Andrea's mother said "How are you already so familiar with this house?" and she giggled and said, "Girls' nights...we would invite you but eh Drunken Uno gets wild sometimes". Andrea's mother said, "When this is over I'll show you a thing or two about drinking". Paula smiled and led Andrea's mother and her grandparents to the 2 bedrooms in the fully furnished basement which had a bathroom and a living room. Paula walked back upstairs and said to the two gods "If you need somewhere to study, these two rooms down this hall are offices and the 2 rooms down that other hall on the left side are bedrooms". They both nodded and said, "Thank you but we shall keep watch for the night".

Paula shrugged and walked back up the stairs to the master bedroom and laid down next to Andrea as she tossed and turned in her sleep. Andrea had a rough night as she woke up crying or screamed out in her sleep and Paula was there to hold her, rub her forehead gently, and let her know she wasn't alone. Meanwhile, Maldor and Maya were sitting on the roof chatting quietly in their human forms while staring at the pitch-black sky and thinking about their fallen comrades". Maya sighed and said "This is all my fault and I fear this may be the end...do you really have a plan Maldor?" and he laughed and said "no I  just said that to prevent a panic, but you and Andrea harnessing the chaotic energy did bring hope and I have all my books here and in one of them is the answer". Maya smiled and said," I guess the very thing we sought to destroy will end up being our savior...how ironic".

Maldor smiled and said, "Yes...through the dark sky there is a sliver of light". Maldor turned to Maya and said, "I have no idea what to do and neither do you but it's okay we will figure it out together just like our children did when defeating Agathor".Maya smiled and said"Aren't you forgetting something?" And he smiled and changed into his human form. Maya laughed and said "The farmer look doesn't work here" Maldor smiled and changed into a galaxy blue toga with his hooded robe overtop and his skin was tan and he had short black hair. Maya smiled and said, "That's better your highness". The next morning, the sun shined brightly in the morning sky, making the events of yesterday evening feel like a distant dream but the nightmare was just beginning for Andrea. Paula woke up first and headed downstairs to assist Andrea's mother with cooking breakfast. After finishing, she brought Andrea a plate upstairs but she refused to eat or even leave the bed as tears threatened to trickle down her face again.

Andrea said" I don't wanna eat right now, just leave me alone for a bit please" and Paula said, "Not until you take a bite". Andrea grunted and took the 3 slices of bacon off the plate and ate them. After Paula left, she laid right back down thinking of all of the memories her and Jay had together; from their first date night to the one they had playing paintball just the week before all this mess started. As she continued to relive the memories, a voice echoed through her head as she looked around but saw no one.

She shrugged it off and got back to her sulking until she remembered the book that Aula gave her last year. Thinking that it may have answers to reviving Jay, she decided to go into jays home office downstairs and get it. When she opened the door she found herself taking in the view of his office now that Jay wasn't sitting there telling her to leave because she was annoying him. The walls were cherry red, with beige carpet, a mahogany desk in the middle of the room with his computer on it, and a chocolate brown recliner in the right corner with a tv mounted on the wall in front of it. The left side had a bookcase full of books with knick-knacks on top.

After retrieving it from the bookcase, she stared at the empty office chair as if she could see memories of him working at that desk and it just felt like a knife to the heart.

She sat down at the desk and inhaled his scent that was still on the chair which relaxed her a bit as she began to skin certain chapters for information but ultimately found nothing. She began to dig through his computer and look through his desk drawers in a panic as she whispered to herself "You can't just be dead, you gotta have a backup plan or something...please". She continued digging through the drawers until she came across a binder and on the cover it read: top secret do not touch. She immediately opened it and burst into tears...it was a binder full of jays plans for their wedding. What hurt more was when she continued to read through and found out that Jay was going to use the bonus that he was going to get, to pay for every detail of her dream wedding she never stopped talking about at least once every week. She felt guilty that their last moments together were spent arguing and that she never got to tell him she loved him before he died.

After sealing herself in his office and contemplating things for a few days, Andrea sighed and knew what she had to do to make things right. She couldn't escape the immense pain and flashbacks that haunted her for the last few days; every ounce of her body was screaming for relief from everything. No matter how much she tried to work out a future without him, her mind kept rolling back to him. He was the reason she had strength, confidence, and a new will to live and fight through the rough times but now he was gone and everything he had built up in her collapsed with him.

Andrea locked the door and closed her eyes and began to channel chaotic energy into her body while focusing on her death. A few minutes later the ground began to shake and Andrea's skin began to crack as her veins swelled up nearly ready to explode and she screamed in agony. This caused Maldor to break his meditation and run towards the door and bang on it furiously until he ultimately kicked it down. By now Paula and everyone else heard the commotion and rushed into the office but it was too late, Andrea lay on the floor, unconscious, with no pulse, she was dead.
