Just Friends?

Chapter 1

School Again. I have nothing against school but I need a break from it sometimes. Nothing amazing seems to happen to me there!

Hi im, Penny and I am just an ordinary student at Fordstale High School. Nothing special about me.

This is how I used to think, until I met Oscar. He changed my life.

It was just an ordinary Wednesday in PE class. I didnt expect anything spectatcular to happen espically because nothing amazing had happed to me at high school yet.

" I want eveyone to partner up with somone the opposite gender to do some volleyball practice " Mrs J said. The whole class groaned but followed her instructions as you did not want to get on her bad side. I stood up looked around and realised I would highly likely be partnered up with someone I wouldnt want to go with. All my friends had partners and I stood there thinking " Great Penny, well done you will probably get partnered up with Robby or someone like that."
" Penny? Wanna go with me? "
I swiveled around and saw Oscar standing there staring at me intensley with his hazel eyes. I loved his eyes. My heart melted instantly. "Sure". We sat down facing each other waiting for our next instructions.

" You have 30 mins to come up with a routine with at least 40 passes with 5 different style of passes. Any questions?.. Nope okay then get started!"

Oscar and I walked to the coner of the PE hall and came up with a plan.
"Do 5 of these, then a fancy one, then 5 of then, do the fancy one again.. haha no! Like this. God, your halirious Penny!" Oscar smiled. I looked at him and poked my tounge out. "Im unique arent I?" I waited for his reply, watching his every move." No Penisaurous Your just plan halirious!"
"Am I Penisaurous now, Oscarsaurous?"
I smiled making Oscar smile even more.

"Penny, yours and Oscars was awesome, haha!" My bestie Tillie states.
"Haha that over the top throw though bahahahaha!"
We cracked up laughing.
"Penny! Hold up! Which way you walking out?"
I turn to see Oscar running up to me.
" This way. Why?" Tillie nudges me and waves goodbye.
"Same! Wanna walk together?"
I pause. Think about it. Without hesitation I agreed.

"Our routine was sick. Aha we need to be partners more often."
He nudges me and gives me a smile.
"Ok Oscarsaurous." I wink.
"I turn down here what about you?" I ask him.
"Nah, I go down here. Soz."
I laugh and turn to head down the street.
"Wait! Penny! Whats your cell phone number, so we can walk together in the morning?"
I gove him my number and walk off, my heart pounding at 1000 miles per hour.
