Chapter 49

KENNYS POV
I raced towards a car in the parking lot, with ben following behind me.
"Right, you get the car ready and I'm going down to the hole in the gate" I whispered.
"Don't wait for me either ok? Let's meet up at the cells" he whispered back.
"Where's that?"
"It over the other side, it's right by the large red tower, you can't miss is"
"Right ok" I whispered and started jogging away.
"Kenny" he whispered/yelled. I turned around and faced him. "good luck" he said, I nodded and carried on jogging.
After about 5 minutes I managed to reach the compound.
Big iron gates and walls, I found the hole and say waiting to hear the car zooming down the road. I sat, wondering if clementine and alvie were ok.
Around 5 minutes had past before I heard the piecing sound of the car alarm, I shuffled myself to peak around the corner down the long road. I saw the car racing towards the gates, a incredibly large heard of walkers following behind.
Then the sound of the car crashing and breaking into the gate, gunshots and yelling was heard. I knew the car had got through the gate now it's my turn to get in there and get clem and alvin.
I crawled though the gap in the gate, I stood up and got my gun ready.
Walkers were already shuffling through the gates and eating people.
A walker came up to me and shot in straight between their eyes. I snapped my head towards the sound of a little girl screaming. she was trapped against a wall with 4 walkers coming at her. I ran over and pulled out my knife and stabbed each one in the head and picked up the girl. she gripped into me and I could feel her crying as I ran with her. I felt liquid seeping through my clothes. Looking down I saw the bite mark on her arm. I stopped and stared at it and I felt her grip loosen and saw her eyes close. I couldn't kill her, I couldn't!
Some women ran up and took her out of my arms and started saying her name, then a chunk got ripped out of her face as the child turned on her.
I just ran and ran I couldn't do it.
After running, killing and helping random people I found what looked like a barn. I ran over and saw it was locked up.
I started violently kicking the door until I managed to bust a large enough space in it. I ran in and I saw her, laying on the floor, unmoving.
