CHAPTER 1
" Mom why do we have to move. I like Louisiana". I said whining.
"My job was transferred to California. If we don't move I'll get fired and we won't have a place to live". My mom scoffed "besides you'll make friends", she said
"Ok well can you at least tell me what school I'm going to?" I asked her
"You'll be going to Burbank high I already enrolled you you'll start Tuesday." My mom said then she turned her attention back to the road then pulling into the gas station. When she did that I crawled into the back seat while she did whatever. I laid out across the seats to sleep knowing that it would be a long ride to California.
CHAPTER 2
When I woke up we were pulling into the driveway of our new home.
" why don't you go have a look at it", she said pointing to the brick house. So I clumsily got out of the car and walked to the front door. I opened the door and stepped inside looking at the already arranged furniture. There were only a couple if boxes left which were probably filled with clothes. My mom walked through the front door and I told her " I'm going for a walk maybe meet the neighbors."
"Ok be careful and be back before dark Ashlyn", she said while pulling out cooking utensils .
I walked out of the front door putting my headphones in my ears and turning my music up loud. I was walking slowly then I ran into what felt like a pole and hit the concrete. I looked up and the person said "I'm so sorry I wasn't looking". As he helped me up and I said "Oh. My. God."
"What???" He said looking confused
"Your............Shane Dawson." I said with wide eyes.
"Yea and you are???" He asked
"Oh my name is Ashlyn it's really nice to meet you. I gotta go back to my house." I replied
"Nice to meet you and please don't leave. Walk with me?" He said
"Ok let's go", I said
We walked for about thirty minutes talking and getting to know each other finally we headed back to my house and I said "Ok,this is my house".
"No way that's my house", he said pointing to the house right next to mine.
"Cool well I guess I'll see you at school tomorrow", I said giving a small smile.
"Yea I'll show you around", he said leaning in and hugging me goodbye. That was nice I never had a friend like Shane.
CHAPTER 3
"Hey mom I think I'll like it here I made and new friend his name is Shane", I told her
"Good honey well why don't you jump in the shower then come eat", she said
"Ok", I said walking to the bathroom. I jumped in the shower for ten minutes and quickly and get my clothes on. After I got dressed I headed to the table. Where we ate spaghetti. I scarfed down my food quickly. Then I ran to my room and jumped in the bed. I was exhausted you know from meeting my idol.
I laid in bed for like ten minutes and slowly dozed off into a dream filled sleep.
CHAPTER 4
My alarm woke me so I jumped up and got dressed ready for my first day of school. Plus I'm kinda looking forward to seeing Shane today.
After I ate breakfast the bus pulled up and beeped its horn. I ran out the house and onto the bus. I didn't know where to sit then I saw Shane waving and telling me to sit with him. So I walked over to his seat and sat down.
