The driver took a familiar turn right to the elementary I used to go.
Ever lasting memories of me and my best friend Chloe at the local swimming bathes.
Especially in the summer were we would go to her house and have water fights with her older brother Luke.
Or we would lay on her front lawn trying to catch a tan as we watch Luke's hot friends play basketball.

I slowed the car as I came to a direct stop at the middle of the street in front of my house.

I stepped out of the car and went around to the trunk to retrieve my luggage, before paying the driver.
I take up the familiar surroundings, looking up at the house in awe.

Home sweet home.

Out of the corner of my eye I saw the curtain to the small window next to the door flicker as if someone was looking out of it.
It kind of creeped me out because I thought someone was watching me.
As soon as I'm about to pick up my luggage the sweet smell of lavender lingers in the air so when I cross the threshold it's like a shot of adrenaline right to my heart. Silence crashes down around me.
Even the fall leaves have ceased their scudding along the stone path.
I slowly turn around and the first person I saw was my mom.
She leaped out from the front of the house in her silly floral skirt and blouse almost covered by the peach cardigan running up to me with her arms wide open as a tear was on the brim of falling down her smooth rosy soft cheeks.
She engulfed me in a hug as she smiles against my cheeks.
Her hair was the colour of raven's wings and cascaded like a waterfall down her back reaching almost to her waist, but this was no more striking than her eyes which were like sapphires set symmetrically into her warm tawny beige face, brimming to the point of overflowing with peace, wisdom and compassion.
She was thin but had perfect sculptured curves.
Shes was perfect in every single way.

Mrs. Azul -Callie Breeze Brown

"Hazel!"
She shrieked still holding me in a bone crushing hug.
I hugged her back with as much passion and love as she gave me.
My hug wasn't as much loving as my mom since she was practically pinning my arms to my side.
I sniff the familiar scent of lavender that was always my mothers favourite plant.

"Mom...c-can't breathe"
I croaked as my breathing hitches as soon as she let go of me all the air came rushing back into my lungs.

"Oh my ...look at you"
She admired looking at my glowing complexion.

"You look even more beautiful than when I last saw you"
She choked out with glossy eyes I blush at the compliment.

"Azul ...where are you?"
I hear my dad call.
"I'm here Steve ...at the front"
She whispers but loud enough for him to hear her as she kept her gaze on me

"I need help with the dinne-...oh my god my little Angels back"
My dad draped his arms around me protectively also with love and a hint of his aftershave fill my nostrils.
I've never seen my dad crying before.
But today, standing in front of the house I can see his eyes turn glossy with tears.
I didn't realise how much they missed me.

"We've missed you so much.
The boys have too...even though they might not admit it" He says before his gaze diverts to my luggage.

"Yeah about that... I was wondering if I could stay a couple of ni-" I said but was cut off

"No need to ask your welcome to stay any time"
My parents say with enthusiasm.
My dad quickly grabs my luggage and enters the house
I just mouth a 'thank you' then walked in side by side with my mom as we linked arms.
My dad just places my luggage outside my old door to my bedroom.

"Don't worry ever since you left your room has been untouched"

"Thank you" I say smiling he just sends me a warm smile then walks down stairs.
Dad was right nothing I mean absolutely nothing has been touched or moved.
My room was just the way I liked it.
It still smelled like cherries and vanilla .
After placing my luggage in my bed I decide to say 'hello' to the two idiots I call brothers ...even though they annoy me I missed them so much.
I could hear Jesse and Logan arguing about some basketball game.
I ran quietly down the hallway and came to a stop at their door.
I creaked open the door as I leaned against the doorway with my arms crossed over my chest.
"How are you saying you won?
I had Lebron James on my team with 40-37 we won by 3 points!"
Jesse said with he's Microsoft X box wired headset.
