Chapter Four - Call Back

   Ashiya's P.O.V. 

   The surrounding area was collapsing around the building. 'Crap!' Something grabbed a hold of my shirt. It was Y/n, and from the look on her face she was terrified. 

The roof above us started to crack, Without thinking I pulled Y/n in to protect her from the falling debris. "Y/N!!!!!" The roof collapsed. I tackled us to the ground trying to shield her from getting harmed. "Hold on Y/n!" Her arms were wrapped around me holding for dear life. I began to feel overwhelmed by my surroundings, when there was a bright flash of light.

It was quiet. Not a sound heard from the rubble. 

"Y/n?! are you ok?" I scanned over the girl underneath me for any injuries. There was a huge rock that was laid on her right foot. 

"My foot! It hurts!" Her face was contorted in pain. Carefully, I removed the rock from her foot. There was a dark purple ring around her ankle and a huge gash. 

"Holy shit! My foot!" That wasn't the reaction I was expecting but I shook it off.

"I'll be ok! We can get this taken care of!" I sounded like I was trying to convince myself more than her.

"Ashiya?!" 

"Yes?"

"W-What happened to your face and ears!?" 'What?!' I reached up to feel my ears. They were pointy. 'Oh shit did I transform in front of Y/n?! How?!' Both of our shocked faces were glued to to each other. 'I'm going to have to use magic on her... This feels so wrong.' She looked more scared that shocked. 'It's for her own good.' 

"It'll be ok, everything will be ok don't worry. Also I'm sorry." 

"Sorry? Wha-" Was all she could say before I used my magic on her. I laid her sleeping form down carefully. 'That was close, How am I going to explain this to Sire? Surely he will ask about it...What the?!' I was focused on Y/n's sleeping face that was now.. glowing? 

She had two marks under both her eyes almost in a flat crescent moon shape. They were glowing a bright lavender color.  The glow casted shadows on her face that seemed to enhance her natural beauty. Then the glow slowly went out leaving no trace of the marking that were once there.

"What... Just happened?" 'Why did her face glow?' In the distance I could hear voices. I couldn't hear what they were saying but from the sound of it, it was Maou and Emi. 'I hope the glow wasn't visible over there. If Emilia saw who knows what she would do.' Looking around to try to find some sort of escape, I spotted a hole that was made by the rocks landing just perfectly. 'We could escape through there.'

-The next day-

   "Last night, you said her face had glowing marks on it?" I nodded. 

"Yes, and it wasn't just the light. I noticed that after the glow, the gash that was on her foot was healed. " 

"Hmm... I wonder if its possible that she might be distantly related to someone in Ente Isla."

"What? How is that possible?!"

"Ashiya keep it down would you? The wall are thin here!"

"Sorry Sire...." He shook his head.

"It's not impossible, I mean we are here now. I think it's a possibility."

"If that is the case what should we do?" He sat there thinking.

"I don't know. I don't think she remembered anything about it when she woke up. Though she did seem to be in a daze when she woke up."

"She did?" 

"Yea, you didn't get to see it because you were still asleep." Knocking on the door was heard suddenly. "I'll get it, Sire." 

"Alright, also could you go to the store and grab a few groceries?"

"Of course Sire."

------Y/N P.O.V-----

   The door opened.

   "Oh Y/n, how are you feeling?" Ashiya greeted me at the door. 

"I'm much better now thank you. My foot is still bruised, but I'm able to walk on it for a short period now." He then placed his hand on my forehead as if he was checking my temp.

"How's your headache? Wait where are my manners come inside!" I laughed as he stepped aside allowing be to enter. He was acting like a concerned boyfriend. I waved to Maou and sat down at the table after I took off my shoes.

"It's gone, Anyway I wanted to thank you guys for taking care of me last night. I hope I wasn't too much of a bother."

"No worries Y/n, you have helped us out a lot it's the least we can do. I'm just glad your ok." Maou had reassured me.

"I'll leave you two to talk I have to run to the store." Ashiya announced his departure before leaving.

"How long does it usually take him to get to the store and back?" I asked Maou.

"Not very long, he is surprisingly quick at food shopping, I think he just gets the same food items from the store so he has all the places memorized." I nodded.

"Would you like to join Zack and I for breakfast? We are making pancakes again since he missed out on them last time." 

"If I ever say no to your food check me into the hospital." 

"Alright then, lets go then." laughing to myself, I lift myself from the floor and the two of us made our short journey to my apartment. 

"Zack! We have company for breakfast!" I yelled out to him. He came rushing out of his room.

"Finally food time! Hey Maou!" Zack greeted Maou as the two of them sat down at the table and started chatting with each other. 'While they chat away I'll get food ready.' I grabbed the bag of pancake mix, a few eggs and the milk jug. 'I can't get my mind off the dream I had last night.' Mixing the eggs and milk with the dry mix I think some more..

Sorry for the short chapter! I've been caught up in a few things but im doing my best to update and work on these chapters. Im planning on next chapter to be longer than this one!

I had to give Zack his pancakes, my friend that Zack is based off of was upset he didn't get any.
