"I guess Neela jeeji was right Aryan, Blood is always thicker than water." Narmada spat bitterly looking at Aryan.
She looked like as if she was possessed with some evil power.

Aryan stumbled back in shock as soon those words left Narmada's mouth only to be held strongly by Imlie.

"Kaki Maa!!" Imlie yelled furiously, her eyes turning red in anger.
"How could you say that?" She shouted, her eyes filled with tears.

She looked up to see Aryan who looked numb. She hugged him and cried on his chest.
He hugged her back tightly, trying to gain strength from her.

Arpita was too shocked to say anything. She couldn't believe her mother had just said that.
She went towards Narmada and shook her, "What is wrong with you, Maa? Can you hear your words? What has gotten into you?" She snapped.

"Nothing has happened to me. Whatever I said is right, Arpi. Today he has proved that he is not my son. He wants you to leave this house." Narmada said, unbothered about Aryan's state.

"It is my decision to move out of this house. How is he even related to all this, Maa?" Arpita asked tearfully.

Aryan broke the hug and wiped Imlie's tears.
He stood in front of Narmada and asked, "What did I do deserve this treatment from you? You were the only mother figure in my life. You have always loved me as your own son since childhood, did not differentiate between me and didi. Then what went wrong in the past few months that you have changed so much? Was all that love and affection fake? Was that all a facade? Tell me." He demanded.

Narmada chuckled humorlessly and said, "Nothing was fake. I always loved you as my own. But you changed after your marriage, Aryan. You don't respect my decisions anymore, you always support Imlie against me. You raised your voice in front of me for that girl. You stopped talking with me because of her. You are no more my Aru. You proved that you can never be my own son."
She took a pause and then continued to spew venomous words.

"You changed so much after her entry in your life. She is the root cause of all the problems. She divorced her first husband, broke his family and now she has broken my family also. You never spoke against me, always obeyed me but because of her, you disrespected me. She is a curse to my family."

"Enough!!" He bellowed loudly, his voice echoing in the whole mansion.

Imlie cried silently hearing Narmada. She wasn't the reason for breaking of this family. It wasn't her fault, she didn't want this. Even in her wildest dreams she couldn't think of harming this family.

She tried to walk away from there but Aryan held her hand in tight grip.

"You don't want to regard me as your son? It is fine then. But don't you dare insult my wife. She is my pride, my family." He said in a low, dangerous voice.

"She means nothing to me. I won't allow her to live in my house anymore." Narmada stated firmly.

Neela smirked seeing this. Finally, Imlie will be out of this house.

"Ok then. You don't want her in your house, then she will not stay here anymore. We will be leaving this house soon, Chachi ji." He said in a determined voice.

Narmada flinched inwardly as soon as Aryan addressed her as Chachi. She has not heard this word from his mouth for almost twenty years.

"Aryan, you can't do this. If she doesn't want me here, I will leave. Please don't do this for me." Imlie pleaded.

Aryan turned towards Imlie and cupped her face, "You are not going to leave me, I won't let you." He whispered.

He then moved towards Narmada, joined his hands in front of her and looked into her eyes and said, "We both will be leaving this house. You won't find us here by tomorrow morning."
He bent down to touch her feet but she moved away.

Aryan held Imlie's hand and walked towards the room in which they stayed, to pack their belongings.
