I opened my eyes to find my alarm clock blaring for me to get up and prepare for school and get ignored and at the same time bullied by the jocks and cheerleaders the whole day and even eat my lunch at the library without the librarian's knowledge.

"Chris, it's time for school baby sister." My older brother, Evan, opened my door with a breakfast tray on his arms paired with his smile while wearing only his sweatpants. I groaned at his greeting before he placed the tray on my lap and chuckled.

"School's not that bad, Chris," he kissed my forehead and made his way to the door. "You just have to blend in," he stated before exiting my room decorated with posters of my favorite bands like The Shins, Nirvana, Led Zeppelin, etc.

"If only blending in is easy." I sighed. It's easy for him to blend in because he's Evan Pierce, the gorgeous guy with gray eyes, beaming smile, sharp outline of a jaw, blade of a nose and apparently a hot body which the girls talk about all the time, while I only got the gray eyes part.

I spotted delicious pancakes on the tray and I know my brother made this for me. He's always taking care of me even though he's studying medicine already and is always stressed because of it. Dad's always busy because he's a military general so he's always away on a job. I kind of like it when he's around because I miss his buzz cut all the time and his awful jokes and his macaroni and cheese. If you're asking about our mom, she left us when I was 2 years old. Dad didn't tell us the reason of why she left and the only thing I know about her is she's a model. When Evan was in high school and I was in grade school, we heard about her again. We received a letter from an agency she works for that she died on a car crash. It was all over the internet and Dad grieved for a few months before he was called for duty again.

Okay. Why did this turn into a drama? Ugh. Shut the hell up Christina.

"Have fun in school, Chris." Evan kissed me on my forehead again before I went out from his car. I just rolled my eyes at him and adjusted my eyeglasses before sending him a smile and walked to the doors where hell lies.

Another hell in school. Here comes nothing.

"Look, it's the nerd."

"I wonder what happened to her. Her brother's a hottie."

"She must be adopted."

"True. She doesn't even look like her Mom and Dad. She must be adopted."

"I wonder if her brother would take me on a date."

Psh.

I'm not surprised of all the things they are spurting out right now. I'm used to it and I've learned to just ignore them every single day that they do that and I'm getting tired of all their chattering already. They always keep on blabbering about how hot my brother is, how my eyeglasses are too big for my face, how baggy my shirts are and how ugly I am compared to my gorgeous brother.

Just tell me something I don't know, for a change.

I wasn't really looking at where I was going so I accidentally bumped into someone making all my books fly into the air and land gloriously on the floor as students stopped to see what was going on. Way to go attract some unwanted attention once again, Christina. Way to go.

"What the - watch it!" I heard an achingly familiar voice. Here comes trouble. Of all the people I would collide with, of course I collided with the big bad wolf of this school.
