A month passed and Luke already adjusted into the surroundings of this school so he's able to have new friends and talk to anyone aside from me, but he's still following me around and annoy the hell out of me in his signature smirk and leather jacket. He has a typical bad boy aura but he's totally friendly unlike Christian Larsen who acts like a pawn of Satan.
"Hey there loner." And he's also calling me different names which annoys me the most and he knows it. I was silently eating my lunch at the library when he arrived with someone I don't know. "Meet Jace." He introduced his friend with jet black hair and brown eyes and a dimple just below his right cheek who sat across me with a smile. Okay. This is the first time he's ever brought someone with him here at the library at lunch. What is with him today?
"You must be Christina Pierce. I'm Jace Watson." He held out his large hand and I carefully and cautiously shook it like he has cooties or something. He laughed at my facial expression and glanced at Luke who is chewing my sandwich rather casually.
"He doesn't bite. Not unless you want him to." Luke winked at me and I just kicked his knee under the table making him grunt and glare at me, making me chuckle and roll my eyes at him. "Are you wearing combat boots? You kick like a damn horse woman!" he exclaimed and made me laugh more.
"I have a party at my house later tonight. Maybe you both could come." Jace spoke up and I whipped my head towards him and scoffed audibly. Me? In a party? No thanks. "What? Jace asked me curiously.
"She doesn't do parties dude. I've tried inviting her once and she agreed but we ended up watching movie at her house where she nagged me not to spoil the movie over and over and over." Luke complained and narrated the time when someone from Minnie's minions invited him and he said he won't come if I don't.
Flashback:
"Luke, I'm throwing a party later at my house and I'd like it of you were there." Gwen, one of Minnie's minions suddenly walked up to our table at the library with her shorts hitched up just below her ass.
I glanced at Luke as he was assessing his answer about that party. I still don't know so much about Luke so I don't know what his answer will be. Maybe he'll go, maybe he won't.
"Sure," he smiled. And I know that smile of his. He's planning something. "I'll go if Christina here goes with me. What do you say?" he chuckled and bobbed his eyebrows at me as my annoyance with him grows. Gwen, as idiotic as she is, she glanced at me and back at Luke and giggled.
"Sure. She can come." She stated and walked away like a little girl.
"Why did you do that jerkwad?" I hissed at Luke who's grinning widely like an asshole he is right now. He laughed and reached over to ruffle my hair causing it to look like a damn bird's nest.
"Come on nerd, I only wanted some company. Don't you want to be with your one and only friend?"
That sounded like an insult but it's true. "Some friend you are, Luke."
Music is blaring in my ears, a ton of people staring at me like I'm some kind of animal carrying disease and a jerk beside me who is actually smiling like a jackass right now. Yes. We are in Gwen's party already with me being dragged by a giant jerk wearing a leather jacket. What's under his jacket anyway? It's like his skin. He never takes it off. Weirdo.
