A green-haired boy can be seen staring at nothing on the roof of a building.

This boy is Izuku Midoriya, someone very cheerful, shy and above all with a noble dream of saving everyone with a smile.

Or that's what he should be, right now he only shows an emotionless face, those eyes that once showed a great spark of life, has been consumed by all the great suffering he went through since he was four years old.

It all started that day, that fateful and cursed day......... the doctor's office, when he received the worst news of his life from the doctor.

Doctor: boy, that's not going to happen, you don't have a Quirk.

From that moment on he lost almost everything, his best friend became his main abuser, the others stayed away from him, not wanting to spend their time with a "freak".

The only thing he still had was his mother Inko Midoriya, a beautiful woman who, despite everything, was always by his side.

I'm sure you're wondering where his father is, his mother told him that he went to work abroad, unfortunately it was not so and Izuku himself knew it.

Flashback

It was already dark and Izuku got up for a glass of water, only to hear his father or mother arguing.

Hisashi: *frustrated* and now I'll be the mockery at my job.

Inko: what are you saying?

Hisashi: That I'll lose all my reputation at work thanks to that brat Quirkless.

Inko: Don't say such things, he's your son!

Hisashi: He's not my son, not anymore!

*sigh* listen Inko, we still have time, let's leave that brat in an orphanage and...

He couldn't finish because Inko slapped him in the face.

Inko: *furious* You're stupid, I won't abandon my little boy just because of your damn whims.

Hisashi: It's not whims, our lives are at risk.

Inko: I don't care what the source thinks of me, I won't abandon my son, what kind of mother would I be if I abandoned my son?

Hisashi: Either he goes or I go, you decide.

Inko: I don't need to think about it, you can take your stuff and get the hell out of here.

Hisashi: *surprised* what.....?

Inko: *sad* you're not the same man I fell in love with.

Hisashi: ...... Well, I'm leaving.

Hisashi leaves to collect his things, while Inko just stares at a picture of the three of them.

Once he finished collecting his things, the former father of our protagonist went to the main entrance only to realize that the little one was listening all the time, being that it would be the last time to his ex-son, he decided to dedicate some last words to him.

Hisashi: no matter what you do or all the effort you spend, you will be nothing more than a simple burden, so why don't you do this society a favor and take the easy way, look for the tallest building, jump and pray for a better life.
