One Sided

Tabby Haworthe is a perfect student at Milwood High,everyone loves her because she is kind and is very smart but there is something nobody knows about her except herself...she is in love with her best friend Imogen Adams who seems to be attracted to a boy called Chip in their class.

Tabby's pov:

I was at the school newspaper with Noa when Imogen suddenly came into us.

-hey girls,wanna go catch up on things at the coffe's tonight?-she asked.

-yeah for sure.-Noa answered and i just nod because it was of course i would go.

I was thinking i could ask her about Chip and maybe when Noa orders our stuff i could even tell her my feelings for her.It would be great timing but we all know fate's a bitch.
Hours later we came into the coffe and Noa did order us food but i couldnt ask her,she talked way too much about Chip so i let it slide.

The next day

Imogen and i were by the lake in the forest over her grandparents house.
I knew it was the right time to tell her because i could not hide it anymore,i was afraid thats true but i know i have to tell her because there would not be other right time for it if i let it slide again.

-so...

-so what..?-she looked at me and that made me smile a little bit.

-i wanted to tell you something...-i continued.

-then tell me girl,arent we best friends?

-i love you Imogen...-i just stated it out as fast as she said that.

-yeah,i know-she said.

-wait..what..?-i asked.

-i love you too Tabby,friends do,its something very typical-she said.

-no Imogen..you dont understand..i..im in love with you...

She just looked at me and held my hand.

-im sorry Tabby..-she sighed.

-yeah,i know...-i tried not to cry when we hugged each other,at least i told her...
