Water. An endless expanse of water was spread out before him, surrounding him and bearing down on him with a weight he couldn't quite feel. He knew it should be there, that there had to be compression as the light twinkling above grew blurrier. His research of the ocean backed up his thought process, so the situation was deeply befuddling.
Ai was sinking.
At the rate of which the light was darkening, he knew his body was entering deeper into the water. A hand extended upwards of its own accord, fingers curling, as if motioning a type of longing to be at the surface once again. It was strange. Ai had no control over his limbs. If he had, then a strong kick would easily boost him through the salty sea and he'd break the surface into the air, and hopefully get back to land.
Wait, how did he get here?
There was no recollection or files in his memory database to answer the vital question. The only answer he received was from the water, whom was now assaulting him with rolling, churning waves and a current that tugged on him, grabbed at his clothes and desperately pulled him downwards into a pitch black darkness. He need only kick his legs. Swim. Air bubbles scrambled from his parted lips and raced towards the surface, as if the air would drown, too, if it spent too much time with him in the water.
Ai sunk until his vision got dark and could see no more.
