Chapter 3

*Insert time skip(season one finale)

Hope and Rafael were walking to the front of the school. Hope was getting ready to leave to find Landon, Rafael's brother.

"Hope, I really want to join you but I don't think I'm ready."Rafael said.

" It's perfectly fine Raf, we'll find your brother in no time."

"Who's we?"

" You didn't think I'd do this alone, did you?" Hope said with a smile growing on her face. She looked to her right where the squad was coming to join them. Kaleb, Jed, and her newly announced girlfriend Josie walked up and joined them.

Josie walked over to Hope and interlocked her hand in hers. She was happy until her sister and Kara showed up next to Rafael.

"She's coming?" The twins say in unison.

"I need all the help I can get, so please put your twin war on pause." Hope raised Josie and her hand and kisses it gently. "Please." She says with a pout to Josie.

Josie looks at Hope and caves. "Fine I'll keep my mouth shut."

Josie looked towards Lizzie looking for a response. Kara nudged Lizzie's side to get her attention. " You too babe."

Lizzie looked towards Kara and back to her sister. "Fine, I'll keep quiet too. But this doesn't mean I'm not still mad at you."

A small smile appears on Kara's face from her girlfriends remark. She finally took her eyes off of Lizzie and looked around for her best friend. "Hey, where's Mg?"

Hope looks at Kara and responds, "He's on his way, come on let's load up while we wait for him."

The squad walks out of the school heading for the car but is taken aback when they spot a bunch of men with weapons.

"Who the hell are you?" Lizzie asked with a angry tone.

"Names Burr. Triad Industries."

If not on cue Hope says a spell ready to attack and defend their school.

"Propellere."

Nothing happens.

The squad look around a bit thrown off. While Burr gives them an all knowing look, as if he knew nothing would happen.

Kara takes a step in front of Lizzie to shield her. She looks towards Kaleb and they nod, both aware of what they have to do.

" We got this. " Kaleb says. Him and Kara start to vamp speed over to Burr when they stop quickly from the burning sensation on their skin. They yell in pain and step back into the shade.

"What you don't got is magic. Which is why your daylight rings won't work. But what we have are stakes, wolfsbane ... and other things. So I think you should invite us inside." Burr threatens.

The squad is shocked but with nothing to do and no way to defend themselves they have to invite them in.

The kids in the school get an assignment by triad industries to help them find a chalice. Meanwhile Stef and Mike began to approach the school looking for Landon.

"Your brother better be here because if he's not then I'm gonna file a missing persons report." Stefanie exclaimed to Mike. "He ditched us and it might be easier if we have a whole police station looking for him too."

Mike looked towards Stefanie a little drained. They'd been looking for his brother ever since he promised to help them out with the whole 'forgotten sister' thing and then suddenly disappeared.
