The weather was ridiculously hot again today, the Lamonsoff house was up particularly early because of the rising heat. All having first thing gotten changed into swim suits, brushed their teeth and made their way into the warming pool; all laughs and giggles as they splashed around.

Adhara had woke early too but not for the same reasons her fathers family had, she'd made the plan to visit the lake Eric had once taken her to; wanting to re-find her way around the small town. The usual jeans and jacket combo wasn't going to work with todays heat and she figured it would be easier with less layers to take off once she got there. Ada opted for a pure white dress that was the perfect amount of loose and tight, it ended mid thigh and tightened at the sweetheart neckline with a long piece of ribbon; it's straps were thin, not covering the slightly thicker bikini strap and the fabric twirled nicely around her whenever she spun. She'd shoved on a pair of black combat boots over her knee high socks and grabbed a satchel like bag to carry a thin cardigan and a water bottle with her.

Adhara had only told Sally where she was going, finding it much too early to start another awkward conversation with her dad. It was only nine in the morning when she'd set off, figuring she'd need extra time to find her location.

Eric Lamonsoff frowned momentarily, his thoughts straying to his eldest child. He hadn't seen much of the teenage girl since she'd arrived, only briefly spending time with her during the trip to the store, and again the female wasn't here with him and his youngest children. His wife had let him know Adhara had left on her own adventure for the day; he would have been worried if he didn't know that Adhara had spent the first few years of her life here; with only a bag and the clothes on her back.

He leaned back against the pools edge, still contemplating how to find something to do with Ada, before he was splashed with water roughly in the face. He turned, shocked, towards the cause and saw Donna and Bean giggling loudly between themselves.

"You little rascals!" He shouted playfully, dumping his hand into the water and scooping quickly upwards at them. The two children squealed loudly, spitting the water out of their mouths and wiping at their eyes; Donna grinned maliciously, mischief swarming her amber orbs, she launched herself at the larger man sending him toppling backward in surprise. Eric and Donna had both been dunked under the water momentarily before resurfacing and involving themselves in a slash war, leaving Bean to be snickering and squealing and occasionally shoving small bits of water at the two.

Sally was washing the dishes, smiling out the window anytime she caught a glimpse of the three. She'd just placed the last plate on the draining rack when she heard the house phone start ringing. The blonde woman quickly reached for the drying cloth, somewhat drying her hands as she rushed over to the device.

Lifting it to her ear, she spoke clearly, "Hello!"

"Sally," A feminine voice responded, "Hi, is Eric home? I need to speak to him, it's important..." she answered gravely. Sally's face dropped slightly, a frown marring her strong features.

"He's just in the garden... is something wrong?" Worry was gnawing at her as she awaited the elders answer, Marie never called unless there was a special occasion or something bad happened, Eric always called first. "Can you put him on the phone, it's important..." Marie answered.

"Yeah." She breathed, manoeuvring her way around the houses furniture as she made her way toward the back door.

"Okay, sweetie." Eric called to his youngest daughter. "You're splashing your brother."
