3.) Something New

I woke up at 9 a.m sharp. I was happy as hell I am seventeen years old. My dream car is outside my own apartment. With a family that would die protecting me. I'm set for life I feel like the princess of the east coast. All I want now is a prince by my side but Geoni or the FAM wouldn't let that happen. I can't even sneak and do it because I'm so much on a leash. I'm a prisoner of my own world. I got dressed in my white shorts with an oversized black sweatshirt that said Nervous Much written on it. I wanted to do my hair but I'm not spending an hour trying to do so.I just let my kinky hair run wild. In was putting on my sandals when I decided to call Geoni to tell him I'm heading out.

"Hey Geoni, Good morning " I said into the phone.

"Where you going ?"He asked getting straight to the point.
"What the world how you know I wasn't calling about the twelve Gs you owe me from last night ?"

"Because your a seventeen year old girl who just got the car of her dreams and she gone want to show it off. Plus I'm already on my way over to drop it off. "He said

"Okay I'll see you in a second" I said while hanging up.

I went back to my room to get my purse. I really don't want to tell Geoni to stop by because he is going to want to tag along. I heard a knock on the door I opened it and there he was with a black duffle bag.

"Here" he said dropping it on my couch. While he sat down on my sofa.

"Thank you" I said while putting it in the hallway closet until I get back to put it in the bank.

"Where we about to go ?" He asked. Damn I knew it

" To the mall to replace my bag and get a new phone maybe some clothes

"Alright let's go" He said while getting up.

We went outside and got inside my car. I hooked up my phone and turned it to the playlist I made for driving last night. The first song was Trap Queen by Fetty Wap. This was nowhere near my type of music but it was catchy as hell.

"Married to the money introduced her to my stove showed her how to whip it now she remixin for low"I sang along

"Know damn well you ain't no trap queen next song " Geoni said

"I don't have nothing to say about Mozart you be listening to in your car but this baby right here is all mines. So I get to choose the music" I said while changing it To Fall for you by Leela James. I truly love this song with everything in me.

"Guess this is acceptable " He said.

We listened to the song three more times before arriving at the mall. I parked in the very back. I'll be damned if somebody hit, scratch even touch my baby. We walked in through the food court nothing was really open because it was only 10 a.m

"Where to first know damn well I hate shopping with you " Geoni said.

" Then why did you come with me ?" He asked.

"Because niggas is always thirsting after you when we come they never step to you because that look I gave them they know not to step up" Geoni said.

I had no idea I thought Geoni was always mad because I would take forever not because people were looking at me.

"Ugh, i I'm never going to meet anybody if you keep pushing people away. I actually want friends and to get married with kids Geoni" I said getting frustrated.

"You will just not now or in ten fifteen years" he said dismissing the convo I knew because he started to walk away.

That man is the most ignorant 34 year old I knew. He was sitting on the bench in front of Pink when I caught up with him. I rolled my eyes at him and walked inside the store. I found the bag that got burned last night and I decided to get more sweat shirts and perfume while I was there. I know I'm kind obsessed with threre stuff. I walked over into Victoria's Secret side to pick out more lingerie. There was a group of girls talking and laughing. Darn I wish that's was me. One girl noticed me staring. I turned away embarrassed of what just happened. I was standing in line getting ready to check out when one of the same girl patted me on the shoulder. I turned towards her and her friends where behind her.
