Vacation Time.
I felt warmth on my face, I opened my eyes to blazing sun. Only then I realized vacation just started. I sat up in my bed but still in a sleepy daze. "Chelsea?" I looked around the room but remembered that she slept in the guest bedroom, I got up and almost ran down the hallway to her room. I looked around, I didn't see her. "Chelsea?"
"In here." I saw her hand sticking out the bathroom door. "Don't tell me you used all the hot water?"
"No, it was boiling hot in here when I woke up so I had a cold shower."
"Good. Maybe Jason left the heater on in your room because my room was freezing cold." I rubbed my arms for warmth.
After a nice hot shower, Jason dropped Chelsea and I at the Mall to watch a movie and go to the fun fair. "What movie should we watch?" I looked at the movies that were showing. "How about.....that one." Chelsea pointed to The Hunger Games. "Nah, I've already seen it with Jason."
"Go home Rosela." I heard someone whisper in my ear. I turned around but no one was there. "Did you see anyone behind me Chels?" I kept looking around. "No, anyway since you've already watched that." Chelsea said while I looked around for Tristan if he was around. "Rose."
"Did you just hear what I said?" She asked "What? No sorry what did you say?" I looked at her blankly while bad thoughts went through my head. "Are you sure you never saw anyone behind me Chels?" I felt weird, I'm pretty sure that Tristan was behind me. "Yes I'm sure, now let's go buy the tickets for the movie!" She looked irritated. "Wait what movie are we watching?" I asked with a confused look.
"We're watching Gone, you really are deaf Rosey." She said while dragging me to the counter.
"Two tickets for Gone please." Chelsea said to the cashier behind the counter. We received our tickets shortly. "What do you want Rose? Large, medium or small popcorn?" I just stared at her blankly, wondering if I'm going mad. "Medium." I said quietly.
"Okay so two medium popcorn's and two grape medium slush puppies." I took my popcorn and slush, walked over to the spice table and put salt and butter in my popcorn. "Come on or we'll be late!" She started running to the theater, I started to run behind her but then someone grabbed my arm and pulled me towards them.
Once they stopped pulling me I turned around and saw Tristan. "What the hell dude!" I noticed that my eyes were now watery and sore, I took out my phone out and saw in the reflection that my eye colour changed to red. "What's going on with me?" I asked him. "You're powers are forming." He smirked. "What?" I looked shocked "What powers?!" I demanded.
"Rose!" I turned around to see Chelsea coming towards me, she sure looked pissed off "Come on, let's go before the movie starts!!" I turned back around to see if Tristan was still there, he was gone.

The movie finished with a tragic end by the guy - the girl who was madly in love with - turning out to be the enemy, the killer and the brother. "That was a horrible movie!"
"I know right, and I thought it was going to be awesome."
"Way too much blood!"
"Sorry, I thought it was a horror not a gruesome movie."
"So what now?" I asked Chelsea. "Um..." Chelsea looked down in thought for a while then looked up with a bright look on her face. "Bumper carts!"
She looked at me in the eyes and her jaw dropped. "A-are you wearing contacts?" She stuttered. "Yea, and they change according to my mood, how cool is that?" I lied trying to convince her. "That's awesome!" she closed her mouth. "You must soooo get me a pair!"
We walked out of the mall three hours later with our hands full of bags and almost dropping from shopping too much. "I'll phone Jason to tell him to pick us up." I took out my phone, and called. "Hey Jason, we're done shopping. Could you possibly come pick us up."
"Sure I'll be right there, which entrance are you at?" "We are at entrance...." I looked behind me to check the number. "...7" "Okay, I'll be there in about 5 to 10 minutes."
"Okay Jason will be here in about 5 to 10 minutes." I said to Chelsea while putting all the bags down. Chelsea put the bags down that she was carrying too. "So what should we do while we wait?" Looking in the distance. "I don't know..." I hesitated. "Wait?" I grinned. "How about we actually sit down on the bench and wait for Jason!"
"No man, how about more shopping?" A huge smile spread across her face. "Never again Chelsea Bun, I'm way too tired to even lift a finger to point at clothes and say 'I love this shirt it's so awesome'." I said in a sarcastic tone. "Oh, come one Rose, just one more time! Please!"
"No Chelsea, I'm too tired. I just want to go home and sleep." I slouched and started playing on my phone. "Fine, but next time, we are staying here until, at least, half past eight."
"I am not promising. It depends on what Jason says, remember." I looked up to see her holding out her pinky finger. I slapped her hand down. "Fine, But if he says yes, you can't phone him halfway through the day, telling him to pick us up." Chelsea said with an irritated face. "Fine, anyway we should get our things."
"Why?" Chelsea asks. "Cause he is just around the corner." The next thing we knew, Jason was getting out the car to help us with our bags. "But...." Chelsea had a confused face trying to figure out how I did that. "I don't know, I just guessed."
"What did you guess Rose?" Jason asked as he put the bags into the back of the truck. "I guessed that you were right behind the corner and apparently you were."
"Well you guessed right."
Chelsea and I then jumped in the back of the truck. Jason started the car and drove off.

"This song is awesome!" I looked to the sidewalk, while Chelsea talked. "Rose! Don't you just love this song?"
"Yea, it's nice, I guess, I prefer Sleeping with Sirens though." I stared at her to see her expression, which was completely blank and didn't change once. "This fresh air is making me feel free, like I'm on top of the world." Chelsea glanced down at her phone. "Oh my word." She almost dropped the phone but luckily caught it in time. "What?"
My palms were sweating and my head was aching. I glanced to the sidewalk thinking that I'd see Tristan, but didn't. Chelsea interrupted my thoughts with her screaming. I looked back at her to see what she was screaming about. "Did you know that Caitlin and Zack broke up?" I almost laughed.
"I'm not lying Rose, check for yourself." After Chelsea gave me the phone I instantly dropped the phone. The next thing I know I feel a sharp pain in my back. I look at Chelsea, everything is going in slow motion.
Then everything goes back to normal speed. I hit the ground, hard, I raise my hand to my head and then bring it back to face. All I see is blood. I hear footsteps coming towards me.
Everything is black. I feel the blood from my head, running down my face. I'm gone. Everything is quiet. Am I unconscious?
