Big Day

The day is finally here. The sky was clear with a blue tint and had fluffy white clouds that hovered over Cloud Recess calmly. However an excited atmosphere filled the usually quiet and strict air as disciples could be seen rushing around to help one another with the big wedding that will be happening tomorrow.

Trains of red silk fabric were hung up on the beams and above doorways. A red carpet with gold detailing on the edges laid impressively on the ground, leading to the ancestral shrine to welcome and celebrate the unity of two people becoming a pair. By evening, everything was in place and Lan Zhan was meditating in JingShi. Eyes closed and legs sat in the lotus position, his sharp ears picked up a small noise. He opened his eyes only to be met with soft grey eyes looking back at him.

"Lan Zhan!", the man grinned happily in front of him, shamelessly throwing his hands around his neck. 

"Wei Ying.", the taller of the two lifted his arms to wrap around the other's slim waist. Wei Ying couldn't help but smile again at the mention of his name on the other's lips and he called out again.

"Lan Zhan!"

"Wei Ying."

"Pft-", unable to hold in his laughter, the sound of his soon to be husband's laughter bounced off the walls of the once quiet JingShi. Calming down a bit, Wei Ying tried to lean in closer for a kiss only for Lan Zhan to pull away.

"Only after the ceremony."

Pouting and letting out a huff of air, Wei Ying knew the rules but he couldn't resist not seeing his Lan Zhan. Sighing when he realize Lan Zhan wouldn't let him have what he wants but ultimately decide to bury his face into the other's neck, breathing in the scent of sandalwood. 

"Wei Ying."

"I know. I know. But let me just hug you for a bit, Er-gongzi. Just for a bit..."

Lan Zhan's gaze soften a tad whilst he tighten his grip on Wei Ying as well.

"Mn."

"Lan Zhan ah..."

"Mm?"

"I am really happy right now."

"Me too."

"I don't want this happiness to disappear."

"Never disappear."

"I want to spend the rest of my life night hunt with you. I don't ever want to leave you."
