Christina's pov
I woke up from my alarm ringing,i rolled over and sat up after shutting my alarm off.
I got up and went to the kitchen for some warm water,when i heard some noise..
"Lara, you wake up" I asked my 4 year old niece while turning around to see her standing near the entrance of the kitchen while holding her teddy bear..
I walked to her and squatted down to be on the same level as her,
"Good morning" i smiled hoping for some type of action from her.
She stared at me softly mumbering a morning to me while playing with my fingers with one of her hands..
I smiled at her and asked,"do you want pancakes for breakfast?" She nodded her head and followed me towards the kitchen as i helped her to sit on one of the chairs present
I and Lara lived in quite a big house as when i returned from Paris to Seoul and started looking after my family business here.
While I was preparing the batter for the pancakes my phone rang, i picked it up without looking at who it was ,
"Hello" i said
"Chris, morning" the other line spoked
"Morning, mark why did you call it? I asked as i recognise it was my secretary and friend who called
What, I can't call you or what..ahh
I scoffed waiting for him to continue
"You have a meeting with the Park's in the afternoon, i just wanted to remind you about it" he said
I remember last night as I was checking my schedule about the meeting.
"Yes, i remembered and i hope all files related to it are ready and finished in a proper way" i said while making the pancakes and setting them down on the plates..
"I'm on the way to the office and will check them, no need to worry about it"
"How's Lara?"he asked
"She is good, I'm preparing pancakes for her" i said while looking at her who was playing with her teddy
"Well you do make nice pancakes" he chuckled
"I'm an excellent cook" i said
"I will meet you in the office, i have to make sure Lara is ready for her school"
"Okay, see you later" he said while hanging up the call.
I served pancakes to Lara with strawberries and honey syrup and prepared a plate for myself while sitting down opposite her.
I make sure breaking her pancakes in pieces which is easier for her to eat.
We ate silently, after finishing our breakfast i helped her clean herself while playing with her as she smiled her gummy smile which is famous in our family.
Usually our maid helps around the house for cleaning and taking care for Lara but she is on leave for today.
I got her ready in her uniform after which i opened the television for her to see some cartoons while I get ready myself.
After getting ready and taking Lara's school bag while checking if she has everything or not, i checked around the house, locking the windows and doors , we got out of the house.
I asked Lara which car we should take as she pointed towards the Black Tesla, "Black Tesla,it is then"
Making sure Lara is comfortable in her seat , i started the car and drove off.
