Chapter 22: Know What I'm Doing

I kind of stood there, as I stared at every one in the huddle. As it was that it kind of felt like it was that it had been hard enough at practice. As this felt like it was a lot worse to me, all at the exact same time too, at that. As I kind of just seemed to let out quite a bit of a rough, and a bit of a heavy sigh to my self, at that, none the less.
As it was that I had in fact just seemed to have stood there, and I had in fact just seemed to have stared at every one for just a few moments. I then did in fact just seem to start to realize that all of their eyes were in fact on me just now. As it was clear that it was to me, that they were in fact all waiting on me to speak to them, all at the exact same time too.
As soon as it was that I had in fact just seemed to have realized that it was in fact the case, all at once. I just then did in fact just seem to start to remember as to the fact that it was. That I was no longer a receiver, such as it was that I had in fact been a long time ago, all at the exact same time too.
As it was clear that it was that I was now the quarterback, and that it was that they all were in fact waiting for me to do a play call, all at the exact same time too, at that. Which I realized that it was that I had already wasted a few seconds as it was so far. As it was that I quickly then did in fact just seem to start to wake my self up all of the sudden, at that.
As it was that I had in fact just seemed to have stood there, and I had in fact just seemed to have stared for just a few seconds, at that. That was when I just then did in fact just seem to start to rip off what it was that was on my arm, all at once. As I then did in fact just seem to start to read the tiny play book that was in fact in front of my eyes just now, at that.
There was one thing that it was that I had in fact done good at the very least, at that. As I had in fact listened as to just what it was that coach had in fact told me at practice the night before, none the less. As he had told me that I needed to read that all the way through, that way I knew which plays would work where. And I knew that names of the audibles, all at the exact same time too, at that.
Which luckily enough for me, I also knew that the team was a fairly some what good team in the fact that it was that I knew that it had been. That they too had in fact read all of theirs, all at the exact same time too. As I knew that they all knew the names of the audibles, never the less, at that.
As it was that I had in fact just seemed to have stood there, and I had in fact just seemed to have stared there for just a little bit of some time. That was when  I just then did in fact just seem to start to close it. As I felt like I already knew the first play that it was that I should call to get this game started, all at once, at that.
As I just then did in fact just seem to start to stare at all of my team mates for just a few seconds longer, all at the exact same time too, at that. As I just then did in fact just seem to start to speak on over towards them. As I could see that it was that the play clock was now down to 20 seconds from the corner of my eyes, all at the exact same time too.
I kind of just let out a little bit of a soft sigh to my self, all at the exact same time too, at that. As I did my best to try to keep my self as calm, and as normal as I felt like I possibly could in the mean time, at that. As I knew that it was already, at that. That every one was in fact beginning to start to listen as to just what it was that I was even saying to them just now. As I knew that they all did in fact seem to take football very serious at the very least.
"We are going to do a Half Back Draw 2..." I said, as I was not all too sure as to just what it was that I had in fact even been thinking as soon as it was that I had in fact even just said as to just what it was that I had even said. As I knew that it was the very first play that it was that I had in fact called in scrimmage the other day, at that.
As it was that I had in fact just seemed to have realized that it was that I had in fact just seemed to have realized that it was in fact the case. And I just then did in fact just seem to start to remember as to the fact that it was as well. That we did in fact have an awful offensive line, at that.
I kind of felt like it was that I might have made a mistake on just what it was that I had in fact even just said, none the less. As I kind of just seemed to let out a little bit of a rough sigh to my self, at that. As I waited for some one to call me out on the play call that it was that I had just made.
How ever, I was surprised to see that it was that the huddle then did in fact just seem to start to get on the move, all at the exact same time too. As I just then did in fact just seem to start to go right on ahead, at that. And I then did in fact just seem to start to see that it was of course, at that.
That they were now starting to get in to their positions, all at the exact same time too, at that. As I just then did in fact realize that it was that I needed to do the exact same thing, at that. As it was that I kind of was just about to walk on up to the line of scrimmage with the rest of the team, all at the exact same time too.
When it was that I just then did in fact just seem to start to see that it was that Johny was in fact staring at me with quite a bit of a confused look on his face just now. As I kind of just did my best to try to keep my self as calm, and as normal as I felt like I possibly could, all at once. As I just then did in fact just seem to start to hear him speak up to me, all at once.
As it was that I had in fact just seemed to have stared there. And I seemed to stand there with my eyes a little bit wide, all at once, at that. That was when I just then in the end, did in fact just seem to start to listen as to just what ever it was that he did in fact feel like he even needed to say to me, all at the exact same time too.
"What the hell are you thinking Grant? This was the first play you called last time too! You know that this is not going to work..." He said to me, as it was that I kind of felt like it was that I was in fact a little bit hesitant to go up to the center, at that. As soon as it was that he had in fact just seemed to have said as to just what it was that he had even said to me, at that.
As it was that I had in fact just seemed to have stood there and stared for a second or so, at that. I just then did in fact just seem to start to squint my eyes on over towards Johny. As it was that I knew that he was not the coach, and that he was not the quarterback what so ever, at that. So I was not all too sure as to just why it was that it seemed like he felt like he had the right to tell me as to just what it was that I should and should not do, at that.
As it was that I had in fact just seemed to stare for just a few seconds, all at the exact same time too. That was when I just then in the end, all at the exact same time as well. I then did in fact just seem to start to see that it was, all at once, at that. That there was in fact clear to me that I needed to hurry up.
As I simply just seemed to ignore as to just what it was that Johny had in fact even just said to me at first, all at the exact same time too. As I just then did in fact just seem to start to walk up to the center. As I saw that there was now only 10 seconds left for me to snap the ball.
As I tried to read the defense, even though it was that it felt like it was in fact too late for me to try to call an audible at that. As I saw that it was that from the corner of my eyes, all at once, at that. That Johny did in fact just seem to start to shake his head on over towards me, at that.
But in the end, he just then did in fact just seem to start to run on ove, all at the exact same time too. And he then did in fact go to where it was that he knew he needed to be in the formation, at that. As I kind of let out a little bit of a soft sigh of some sort of relief to my self, at that.
I then did in fact just seem to start to look at the defense, all at the exact same time too, at that. As I saw that it was that they were in fact not seeming to do any thing all too crazy. Unless for some odd reason or another, it seemed like they were in fact going to go on a delayed blitz, at that.
As it was that I had in fact just seemed to have stood there, and I had in fact just seemed to have stared for just a few seconds. It was clear that it was that they were either in man coverage, as they were expecting a pass. Or they were in fact in zone coverage, which would make more sense if they had really checked the tape, and known that Johny was really good.
As it was that I had in fact just seemed to have stood there, and I had in fact just seemed to have stared for just a few more seconds of time, all at the exact same time too, at that. That was when in the end, I just then did in fact just seem to start to go right on ahead, at that. And I then did in fact just seem to start to get my mind, and my focus off of all of the rest of that other stuff, all at once.
I did my best to try to keep my self as normal as I felt like I possibly could, all at once. As it was clear that this could actually be a fairly decent play, for us, at that. Though I said that about the out side blitz last time on this play call, so I felt like I should not speak to my self all too soon, at that.
I kind of just seemed to continue to let out a bit of a rough sigh to my self, all at the exact same time too, at that. As in the end, I just then did in fact just seem to start to go right on ahead, all at once, at that. And I just then looked at the clock, as it said 5 seconds. As I then looked at my team mates to make sure that they were all set up.
Which of course they were, as it was in fact clear to me, all at the exact same time too, at that. As I just then did in fact just seem to start to continue to go right on ahead, as well. And I then did in fact just seem to start to suddenly begin to start to step up. And I then did in fact just seem to start to yell very loud to the center.
So that it was that he could hear me of course, at that. As it was that I then did in fact just seem to start to get ready to have the ball snapped to me. As I was in fact in that shot gun snap, all at the exact same time as well, at that. As I then continued to do as such a thing like that, all at once.
"Down... Set... Hike!" I yelled at what almost seemed to be the top of my lungs, all at once. As I just then watched as the ball did in fact fly a bit on up over towards me, at that. As I realized that it was that right away, the snap was in fact a little bit high, all at the exact same time too.
Which meant that I was going to have to jump up to catch the ball, all at the exact same time too. Which kind of scared me for my legs. A lot more than it was that I felt like it was in fact going to be hard to catch the snap, all at the exact same time too.
As it was that I did in fact just seem to jump up, all at the exact same time too, at that. I kind of felt a little bit of a strain on the both of my legs, all at the exact same time too. But it was not any thing to knock me down what so ever, as it was that I caught the snap, all at the exact same time too.
As I just then did in fact just seem to start to look on just what it was that was even going on just now in front of me, all at once. As it was that I saw that just as it was that I had in fact expected to be the case, at that. All the receivers were in fact running right now, all at the exact same time too, at that. As it was clear that they were in fact trying to throw the defense off just now, all at once, at that.
As it was that I had in fact just seemed to have realized that it was in fact the case, all at once. I immediately began to start to see that within the first second or so, at that. That they were in fact in zone coverage, all at the exact same time too. I kind of also did in fact notice that it was that the middle line backer was in a quarterback spy, all at the exact same time too.
Which would make things tricky, all at the exact same time too, all at once, at that, never the less. As I kind of just kept my eyes on one of the receivers, as it was that I pretended like I was about to throw it to him. Which I saw that he quickly then did in fact just seem to start to move on over towards where the receiver was at.
Which did in fact clear an open path for Denzel, all at the exact same time too, all at once, at that. As I just then did in fact just seem to start to all of the sudden begin to speak to him, all at once, at that. As I knew that it was that he was in fact beginning to start to listen as to just what ever it was that I felt like I even needed to say towards him just now, at that.
"Alright Denzel, you got this!" I said on over towards him, all at the exact same time too, at that. As I just then did in fact just seem to start to hand the ball off to him, at that. As just as soon as it was that I had in fact noticed that the ball was in fact in his hands, all at once, at that.
That was when I just then did in fact just seem to start to look at the offensive line, to see as to just how well they had held up in those couple of seconds, at that. As I was actually surprised to see that it was that as soon as it was that I had in fact just seemed to have looked at them of course. It was in fact clear to me that much to my surprise, never the less.
That it was that they had actually seemed to do some what decent at the fact that it was that they had held their blocks, all at the exact same time too, all at once, at that. As it was that I then did in fact just seem to start to see that it was, that at that. As I seemed to forget that it was in fact the case for Denzel often times.
He then did in fact just seem to start to go on ahead and go at lightning speed, all at once. As I knew that he did in fact have a lot of acceleration, all at the exact same time too, at that. As he then did in fact chug right through the offensive line, all at the exact same time too, at that.
As it was clear to me that at the very least, he had in fact got past the line of scrimmage, all at the exact same time too, at that. As it was that it was clear to me that this play no matter what the case was going to be. Unless he some how had a fumble. Which I really doubted that it was going to be the case, as I knew that he was good at holding on to the ball.
That it was going to be a positive gain, all at the exact same time too. The only problem at this point, was the linebacker that had in fact been doing his QB spy on me, all at the exact same time too. As I just then did in fact hear at the top of his lungs, as he did in fact just seem to yell to his entire defense, at that. As I of course, did in fact begin to start to listen as to just what ever it was that he did in fact feel like he even needed to say on over towards all of them, all at once.
"It's a run play! Every one pay attention!" He yelled, all at the exact same time too, all at once. As I saw that the defensive line was all of the sudden beginning to stop moving in to the OLine, all at once. As it was that it was clear that they were now beginning to chase down Denzel.
Which luckily enough for Denzel, all at the exact same time too. It was clear to me that it was of course, that he had already got far past them, all at the exact same time as well. As it was that I just then did in fact just seem to start to see that the only real person that was close to him.
Was of course the line backer that had in fact been playing a QB spy. As the other out side line backers in the 4-3 defense, were too far on the out sides to do any thing just now. As I kind of just seemed to see the middle line backer begin to chase Denzel down, all at the exact same time too.
I was actually a little bit surprised as to just how fast it was that I had in fact just seem to guy go, all at the exact same time too, at that. As I kind of just seemed to stand there and stare for just a little bit of some time. As it was that my eyes were a little bit wide, as it was that he did in fact just seem to get right on to Denzel.
And he then did in fact just seem to start to see that it was that he then did in fact start to try to take him down. But Denzel at the speed that he was going at just now. He did in fact just seem to start to just truck him over, all at the exact same time too.
How ever, luckily enough for the line backer, at that. I noticed that it was that it had slowed Denzel down just enough, all at the exact same time too. For the safety to run up on him fairly fast, all at the exact same time too. As it was that the safety after Denzel managing to get a few more yards, did in fact run right in to Denzel.
And he then did in fact just seem to start to take Denzel down, all at the exact same time too. As it was that I had in fact just seemed to have realized that it was in fact the case, all at once. I saw that it was that Denzel then did in fact immediately begin to get up from off of the ground, at that. And he then did in fact just seem to start to toss the ball right on over towards the ref, all at the exact same time too.
As it was that the ref had the ball, all at the exact same time too. That was when I just then did in fact start to hear the voice of Denzel, all at the exact same time too, at that. As he just then did in fact seem to celebrate on the play that it was that had in fact just seemed to have happened, at that.
As it was that I had in fact just seemed to have realized that it was in fact the case, all at once. I just then did in fact just seem to start to go right on ahead, at that. And I then did in fact just seem to start to begin to listen as to just what ever it was that he did in fact feel like he had to yell out loud, all at the exact same time too.
"Let's go! First down!" He said, as he then did in fact seem to wave his arms right on ahead, as it was that he was in fact clearly signaling as to just where it was that the chains should in fact be moved forward, at that. As I could not help but to feel like it was that I had to smile on just what it was that Denzel had in fact even just done, all at the exact same time too.
As it was that I had in fact just seemed to have notice that it was that I had in fact just seemed to have realized that it was in fact the case. That was when I at first noticed that I needed to move forward a bit along with the offensive line, at that. As I just then did in fact just seem to also notice, and I also seemed to see that it was, all at tbe exact same time too.
That Johny was in fact heading right on over towards Denzel, and where it was that we were in fact getting ready to huddle up at, all at the exact same time too, at that. As I just then did in fact just seem to start to hear Johny cheer Denzel on, all at once, at that. As I kind of just seemed to start to listen as to just what it was that he did in fact feel like he needed to say to Denzel just now, as I did in fact have my eyes a little bit wide, as soon as it was that I had in fact just seemed to have began to have done as such a thing like that, all at once, at that, never the less.
"Let's go Denzel! Great move!" He said to Denzel, as I saw that it was that Denzel did in fact have a happy smile on his face, all at the exact same time too, just as soon as it was that his friend had in fact just seemed to have hyped him up, at that.
I kind of grunted a little bit to my self, all at the exact same time too, as to just what it was that Johny had in fact even just said to him, all at once. As I kind of felt like it was that it had in fact been a good first down and a good run by Denzel of course, at that. But I also kind of felt like I was a lot to do with the success of that play.
As it was a good play call for one to start off the game. But it was also the fact that it was that I did in fact know as to the fact that it was of course. That I had in fact thrown off the QB spy on the line backer. By pretending that I was about to throw the ball to some one, all at once, at that.
As it was that I had in fact just seemed to have stood there, and we had in fact just seemed to start to line up at the huddle, all at once, at that. That was when I just then did in fact just seem to start to go right on ahead. And I just then did in fact just seem to start to squint my eyes right on over towards Johny, at that.
As it was that I had in fact just seemed to have began to have done as such a thing like that, all at the exact same time as well. That was when I just then did in fact just seem to start to go right on ahead, all at once. And I just then did in fact just seem to start to speak right on up towards Johny. Just as soon as it was that we had in fact just seemed to have got up and close to one another, all at once.
As soon as it was that I had in fact just seemed to have done as such a thing like that, all at once. I just then did in fact just seem to start to see Johny blink his eyes a few times at first. As in the end, he then did in fact just seem to start to stare at me with his eyes wide. As it was clear to me, never the less, that he was in fact beginning to start to listen as to just what it was that I did in fact feel like I even needed to say on over towards him, all at the exact same time as well.
"Yeah... Now can you see that I know what Im doing?"
