Robin could barely sleep at all last night, all he could think about is how his crush is into someone else and how he lied about being into someone else, he felt so guilty and devastated but the worst part of it all is that he had to face him because his baseball game was today.
Robin gets out of his bed and gets ready for the day, after making sure his outfit looks good enough, he walks off to school.
(TIME SKIP)
at last, it was lunch
As soon as Robin enters the cafeteria, he spots Finney at his table and walks up to him, but before he could even say hi to Finn Donna starts talking to him, which makes Robin's blood boil.
"Excuse me?" Robin says
"Oh hey Robin! i didn't even notice you were here!" Finney said in a sarcastic tone
Wow, that was an asshole thing to say.
"Hey Finney, how are you?" Robin asked
"Well im excited for my baseball game and my date with Donna" Finn said confidently
"Your what!?" Robin said in a shocked tone
"Yeah, i asked Donna out, aren't you happy for me?" Finney says
"Yeah i am, the crazy thing about it is that i also have a date with Viviene!" Robin lied
Oh shit.
"Really? Thats nice" Finney says
"now if you excuse me i have a girlfriend to talk to" Finney added with a fake cocky smile
"Bye" Robin mumbles before walking away from him, feeling like shit after seeing Finn
Now he had to ask Viviene on a date to the baseball game, but the thing is they didnt talk much so he knew she wouldnt be too interested, so he had to make a plan and he had to make one fast.
Then a lightbulb went off, he could just convince her to pretend to be his date.
He walked up to Viviene who was sitting on one of the benches outside the school
"Hey.." Robin said awkwardly
"Hi!" Viviene responds
"Listen, there's this baseball game happening at 5pm today and I was wondering if you maybe wanted to go on a date with me" Robin said
"Robin, your a really nice guy but i-" Viviene was then cut off
"Vivi it's a fake date, im doing it to make my crush jealous.." Robin whispered
"And why do i have to be your fake date?" Vivi questioned
"Because i sorta told him i asked you out..." Robin shamefully admits
"why would you do that!?" Viviene asked confused and a bit upset
"Because i wanted to make him jealous!" Robin said
"What the hell dude!" Vivi says
"Please go with me, ill even pay you!" Robin begged
"Fine! you owe me $20.." Viviene demands
" $20?" Robin says in a shocked tone
"Don't make me make it $40!" Viviene threatened him
"Alright damn, ill give you $20.." Robin says
"Ok so, who's your crush?" Viviene askes
"Finney blake.." Robin told her
"Baseball boy? He's dating my crush Donna!" Viviene said
"So that gives you another reason to help me!" Robin said to her
"Lets fucking do this.." Viviene said excitedly
"Great so Ill meet you at 5:08 and you have to wear something nice" Robin said
"I will, bye!" Viviene said and left
(ANOTHER FUCKING TIME SKIP)
It was 5:08 and Robin was now standing outside of the field next to the bench where he and Viviene agreed to meet.Robin had no idea if this was going to work or not, but he knew he needed it to happen, otherwise he would never get over Finn.
Suddenly, Robin sees Viviene walking towards him, she's wearing a black dress with pink flowers on it, she looked nice
"Hey Viviene" Robin greets her
"Hey Robin" she says while smiling at him
The two sit down on the bench, they start gossiping about stuff and laughing at jokes, they suprisingly had fun, Finally after 5:14, there's a whistle coming from the field which means the game is starting
"Here we go" Robin whispers
"What're we gonna do once the game starts?" Vivi asks Robin
"Just follow my lead" Robin says
As soon as they see Finney step out on the field they start kissing each other and acting all lovey dovey, Finn saw the two and immediately got jealous but quickly pulled his attention away and focused on the game so they took it a step further, they pretended to flirt a bit and deep down that secretly made Donna a little jealous but she tried not to pay any attention to it
After the game Donna ran up to Finney and hugged him, now they were getting jealous, the way Finney was looking at Donna with such love in his eyes made Robin sick to his stomach, like what did he even see in her? Sure she was beautiful and kind, but so was he! So why was she the one he chose?
Viviene and Robin decided it was time to go and headed home
"Here's your $20 by the way.." Robin says as he hands her 20 bucks
"Thanks Robin.." Viviene thanked the boy
Robin finally makes it to his house and goes to his room , he sits on his bed and thinks about the whole situation he was in right now. His mind kept replaying the same scene again and again and again and again
He hears his phone ring in his pocket and takes it out to see who called him, but he quickly puts his phone back in his pocket when he notices who texted him, it was Viviene.
"Hey man, you wanna keep doing this fake dating thing?"
