A small girl, of about 17 approached me, that's impossible, did she have Alexandria's Genesis? Her eyes were a deep purple and her dark brown hair was tied back into a ponytail, her skin was pale but shimmering with make-up. "Alexandria… Is that you?" She seemed uncertain.

"It is… And you are?" My voice cracked less now, but it strained my throat to speak.

"My name is Cleo, I was given a letter, passed down through generations, I was told to open it this very morning, the letter told me of you, and that i was to find you and protect, hep and guide you, show you the ways of the people."

"How did you know it was me? Is this a trick?"

"Well first, you're wearing clothes that look ancient, second, your skin is white as snow, and third your eyes are violet, it's not hard to miss you to be honest..." She stared blankly at me, looking me up and down, how dare she! This robe was made specially!

"Well, I do beg your pardon! These are my finest robes!"

"Oh, no! I didn't mean to offend you, i just mean, it isn't really the most common attire, we should probably get you changed, then i can explain to you what is going on. Let's get to my car."

"Car? I assume that's your vehicle?"

"Uh, yeah, whatever…"

I uncertainly dragged my feet towards a shiny blue vehicle, it looked very modern, but i suppose almost everything was now, this was so different, and what did she mean by 'explain'? Explain what? I thought the purpose was for me to breed and recreate the Alexandria's Genesis race, well, i could start it at least, i hand't even seen what i looked like yet, I was 17 when i was put into the casket, but it's been 5000 years, i haven't aged a day, but technically, i'm 5017 years old, i think i could win something for that, at least! I clambered inside the vehicle and sat on a scorching hot leather seat, the sun shone in through the glass window at the front of the car, causing me to wince.

We drove for around half an hour, but it seemed longer as the heat was pounding on me and the light was burning my eyes, she gave me a pair of tinted glasses to put on, they helped but they were still watering, thats what you get for closing your eyes for 5000 years i guess…

We reached her apartment in around 10 minutes, there were a lot of cars on the roads, more than i expected, it was almost scary, being in a deadlock of vicious, ferocious vehicles, ready and raring to get out of the small square space they were restricted inside. The apartment was much like the rest of the century, modern and shiny. The walls were crystal white, matching our skin, although hers had tanned slightly, and the furniture was black, very minimalistic i'd say, nothing that i was used to, was treated like a princess back then, my father was rich, and considered an authoritative figure as he could basically invent anything, most modern day machines and structures came from my father, Azuse. My mother on the other hand was as thick as a brick, she thought little of everybody and everything, even though she hand't worked a day in her life, and would most certainly be a peasant if it weren't for my father. i got a bit side tracked there, anyway, Cleo led me into a huge walk in wardrobe and handed me some shorts and a tank top, to protect my eyes she gave me a sun hat, and threw me a pair of sandals to wear on my feet.

After i was changed, she led me into her living room and sat me down, i guess this was the 'explaining' part. "Alexandria, we need to leave. The Egyptians that invaded all those years ago heard about you, so they did the same thing, after you had been buried, they captured your father, told him if he did not recreate the machine for them, your mother would be killed, so he did as they said, and consequently, they also put to rest a soldier, named Phiaros, but your father was smart, he made sure the machine didn't develop the brain, Phiaros will be stuck in the past, but he's ready for war, and he'll do anything he can to kill you and any other Alexandria's Genesis mutations, that means me, my mom, my dad and all my family." I was shellshocked, those damned Egyptians, how dare they do something like this! I couldn't LEAVE. I've never left Egypt, ever! I didn't really know what to say, so i blurted out the first thing that came to mind, "Where do you expect me to go?" I was on the verge of crying, so it came out more of a mumbled, stifle.

"Well, i've booked us a flight, to Djibouti, a small county on the coast, we will stay there until it is no longer safe, he will follow us, no doubt, you better be prepared for running, because if there's one thing i know about Egyptians, it's that they never, ever give up." I sighed, the world was ready for me, but i was not ready for the world, this is way to much for my 5017 year old brain to process in one day, i think i need to lie down.
