A letter from the past

You sit with Loki in the library, none of you have really had time to discuss what your kiss meant those weeks ago. After everything that had happened it honestly wasn't really what was on your mind. Yet every time you saw him you wanted to ask him what he wanted. He had been such a big help to you, taking time to practice your magic, and tracking down your mother.

You turn to look at him, noticing he's starring at you. "What?" You chuckle nervously

"Nothing.." he assures you.

You put down the book. "No what is it?" You ask.

"Are you thinking about going home?"

You look up at him, quite taken aback by his question. Cause to be honest you hadn't really thought much of it, some part of you missed the team so much, but you felt another sense of comfort here you couldn't find anywhere else.

"Some Day  yes" you answer.

"And what of me?.. of Thor?" Loki asks sadly. "Will you just leave us?"

"No" you say quickly. "Never, I just-"

"Goodmorning" Thor smiles brightly as he interrupts you.

"Morning Thor" you smile back at him.

"You have to go easy on her brother" Thor says as he looks over at the stack of books beside you, Loki had you reading.

"I'm ready Thor.. for once I'm actually ready to use my powers, I don't have time to go easy" you exclaim. "Go ahead try me" you smile.

Thor looks at Loki suspiciously. Loki nods his head as Thor walks towards you. You place your hand against his head as you close your eyes. Seeing every memory and thought of his, roaming your way through his mind seeing the glimpses of him and Jane together all the love they shared.

At the end of it all there it was, through the pain and the sacrifice you saw him with a child, and her. You tie together the pieces of memory string, a simple spell to lock his desire in his heart.

Until it was all you could see. It was all he longed for in the world. Thor pulled his head back. As he looked down at the ground.

It's alright Thor.. you'll find her again I can see it

You turned to look at Loki.

Just a little something your brother taught me.

"You two really need to get a life" Thor chuckles nervously.

You look at Loki with a big smile on your face. "We're working on it" you say softly.

"Lady y/n i have s message from earth" Heimdall interrupts you as he storms into the library.

"Heimdall, it's good to see you" you greet him. "What is it?" You ask nervously as you stand up noticing the worry in his eyes.

"Perhaps it's better if we speak in private y/n" he says quietly.

"No it's okay.. whatever you need to tell me Thor and Loki can stay" you state, as you hold onto Lokis hand.

"It's from a mister Stark.. he's requesting your presence on earth"

"What has happened?" You ask as you take a step forward.

"I'm not familiar with his use of words, so I'll just say it as he did. Y/n i fucked up, and a manic robot is going to destroy us.." Heimdall quotes him. " I believe those are the words he used"
