The Sleepover

Ｃｈａｐｔｅｒ ８

For the second time since they had arrived to this retched place, the girls were kidnapped and locked up. Had it been weeks, months, years, seconds? Who knew. Fatima and Rida were slumped against each other groaning and moaning while holding their stomachs. Marium was pacing the room and occasionally kicking the wall, and Rayyana stood leaning against the metal bars looking out at the door waiting for someone to come downstairs and check on them.

"Alejandro hates us, I get it but I thought Rumaisa would at least check up on us! Or at the most on you Rayyana." Marium said her voice echoing against the bars. Rayyana gulped, remaining silent. she had also foolishly hoped that Rumaisa of all people would send someone to check up on her. What had happened in such a short amount of time? Had her best friend really just abandoned her for some random guy?

"Marium stop walking around, the sound is giving me a headache." Rida said laying down on the uncomfortable floor. Marium sighed and sat down leaning against the wall "There's no secret button in the wall or floor we could press." Dissapointed couldn't begin to describe Marium right now. She had read millions of times about people being locked up and everytime they're was a secret button or something hidden that helped the people escape. If this was like a fairy tale, it fucking sucked.

The creaking of a door awakened Rida and Fatima immediately. All of them looking at the door that had opened, a woman walking in. She had a tray filled with food, and a set of keys in her hand. She motioned for Rayyana to step back which she did eventually. The woman opened the cage and placed the tray filled with bread and cheese before slamming the door in time for Rayyana to slam against the door.

She grabbed onto her nose, cursing herself for failing to escape. "Consume." the woman said. ah, so she was also royalty. The woman was very different from the previous princess, with gray streaks of hair shining, not a wrinkle in sight on her face dismissing the allegations that she may be old. She looked about the princess age but a little bit older. Maybe she was her elder sister? "Who are you?" Rayyana asked rubbing her probably red nose.

The woman in return wrinkled her nose and hummed "I doth not answ'r to Alejandro's s'rvents." That peaked Rayyana even more. Who were these people, and why did they all collectively hate Alejandro so much? "We aren't his servants, we are technically Rumaisa's." Rida said chomping on cheese. "Rida aren't you lactose intolerant?" Marium asked eating the bread.

Rida shrugged "Cheese doesn't affect me." Fatima snickered and turned to the woman "You got milk?" Rida hit her making Fatima laugh louder. "Rumaisa, Who is't is this rumaisa wench?" The woman asked curiously. "A bitch." Rayyana muttered before saying "She's a normal person,"

"So the lady's a ingraft'r?" Rayyana raised an eyebrow "Uh if that means commoner then yeah." Rayyana didn't like the way the woman just stared at her nodding. "Now that you know that we are nothing to Alejandro, answer my questions. who are you? and why are we here?"

The woman took a deep sigh and walked forward until she was almost next to Rayyana, her and the woman separated from the bars. Rayyana tried hard not to flinch as the woman reached out and stroked her cheek. Frozen in fear Rayyana felt a sharp sting as the woman yanked her hair, making her cheek go against the bars.

Marium, Fatima, and RIda got up watching as Rayyana's face smooshed against the metal bars digging into her skin "OW LET ME GO!" Rayyana tried to pry the woman's hand off but she wouldn't budge, digging her sharp nails deeper into her hair. "thee dareth asketh me a questioneth?" The woman leaned in closer, she had been drinking before the beer smell hitting Rayyana's nose.

"thou art nothing to alejandro, 'r to us." The woman sneered throwing Rayyana onto the floor. She fell with a hard thump feeling her back break into thousands of pieces. She winced as the girls helped her off of the floor "This...wasn't how I wanted to break my back." She winced leaning against the wall catching her breath.

"If we are nothing to you, why are we fucking locked up?" Fatima yelled pointing accusingly at the woman who appeared bored after basically making Rayyana bald (Marium DO NOT)

"Thou art nothing to me, but thee cullionly something to mine own sist'r." So Rayyana was right, the two were sisters. As if summoning the other one, the other princess stowed in her heels click-clacking behind her.

"what art thee doing h're sunflow'r." The other princess said. The girls face scrunched at the name "Your name is...sunflower." Marium said slowly as if she couldn't believe it. "Aye and h'r nameth is titan arum." The two sisters looked at each other as if they should be proud of their names.

"The fuck is a titan arum." Fatima voiced aloud. "May I suggest you watch attack on titan?" Marium said. The two sisters turned back, both of them yelling "SILENCE." Fatima and Rida both placed a finger on their lips kindergarten style and just watched the two princess converse amongts themselves.

Finally, the main one Titan Arum looked at them with her eyes squinted "thee very much arent alejandro's s'rvents?" The girls shook their heads and watched as Sunflower and Titan Arum talked some more before nodding.

They both turned to the girls identically, geez for sisters so different they sure moved at the same pace. "v'ry well, i shalt bid thee wherefore thee all art h're." Titan Arum said. She motioned in the darkness, a guard coming from out of thin air holding a chair.

He placed a chair next to Titan Arum who sat down while Sunflower stood beside her, authority and power reeling off of them. "This is mine own sist'r daisy, and i am titan arum." She reintroduced herself as if they didn't know who she was. "Alejandro and i art did marry, and mine own sist'r and Alejandro art eke did marry." The girls looked at Rayyana who was perplexed at the new information Titan Arum had just thrown out.

"But yond is not all, sunflower is eke Alejandro's step-moth'r." Titan Arum finished staring at Rayyana. "What is she saying?" Fatima shaked Rayyana not understanding what the hell Titan Arum had just announced.

Before Rayyana could answer, she felt darkness welcome her and she fell into a deep slumber.
