"Wren!"
The blonde had barely stepped her foot through the door of her apartment before Ki had jumped on her like a lion. The brunette engulfed her friend in a hug, pulling back to admire her. "I've missed you an ungodly amount."
"I've missed you, too."
Ki could tell Wren was somber upon returning home, she only imagined how hard it would be to not know when she'd see Punz again. "I know you're sad, but I'm sure you'll see him again soon. How was your trip though? Were the other boys nice to you?"
Wren's heart dropped, her mind racing back to the brunette boy she had left behind.
After driving Sapnap home the night of the party, things between the two only went up. They chatted all day, telling each other all the little things about themselves, and saying the stupidest shit that would make each other laugh.
Wren wanted to drown in his presence, fully engulfed by him. She loved who he was a person. He was completely, one hundred percent himself at all times, and she envied him for that. He lit up the room every time he entered, and she wished she could have spent more time with him in person.
Wren hated to admit it, but she was starting to develop feelings for the brunette boy. His personality, charisma, and quick wit sucked her in like a riptide, and she had completely fallen for him.
She knew she was making a fool out of herself by developing the feelings. She knew there was no way he could like her back, no matter what flirty comments he made. They had met not even two weeks prior, her feelings were completely unorthodox, and not mutual in her opinion.
And she was fine with it, she understood they couldn't be. But she didn't mind all too much, she was just glad she had gotten the chance to become friends with Sapnap, with Nick.
"The boys were great, very welcoming." Wren started. "Sapnap was the sweetest guy ever, so funny and nice. Dream was a little shit, almost like a six foot tall, little brother. And Luke, well... Luke is Luke. He's my best friend so he was great, too. I had a lot of fun."
Ki smiled, enjoying her friends happiness. "Good, I'm glad you had a good time. And I'm sad to see you sad, but I'm glad you're back. We've spent way too much time apart, I'm ready for some girls nights and funny stream interruptions."
Ween nodded. She had missed Ki so much while she was gone. "I am, too. Love you, Ki. You're the best."

Wren's heart skipped a beat at the text message.
You like Sapnap?
What was she even supposed to say? Did Punz know something? Did Sapnap say something?
Wren's heart went a mile per minute, as she tried to muster up to courage to respond. But in all honesty, she wasn't even sure if she knew what to say.
She knew that she did like Sapnap, but she wasn't sure if it was blatantly obvious or not. It must've been, though, since Punz had picked up on it.
She was unsure of what to do, if she should just tell Punz the truth. She knew Punz wouldn't mean any harm, but she was scared this was a prank and her admitting her feelings would somehow set of an awful chain events, crashing her relationship with both boys. She knew it didn't make much sense, but she was overwhelmed and her overthinking wasn't helping in the slightest.
She pondered if she should lie, just tell Punz no. She knew he would pry, and probably find the truth out sooner or later, but maybe not? Maybe she could stall for the time being, eventually losing feelings for the brunette, and simply evading any embarrassing or uncomfortable forthcomings.
Wren was confused, and nervous. Yet, she began to type.
