Ponyboy: You we're reading a book and writing some stuff down for a report. He watched as you bit your lip, signaling that you were focused, whenever he saw that, his face turned red and he realized that he really liked you.
Sodapop: Like I said in the first chapter, it was love at first sight, he didn't even need to talk to you to know you were the one, screw Sandy.
Darry: The first time you made sure that Pony felt was safe and comfortable in the house without their parents. He loved watching you take care of him like he was your own son, that's when he realized he liked you. A lot.
Dally: Whenever he dropped you off at your house you offered to let him stay the night, the next morning when you woke up and saw him on your couch you immediately blushed because you had forgotten that you had offered to let him stay the night. Seeing you so flustered made him realize that he was falling for you hard.
Steve: It was a lot like Soda because as soon as he saw you he knew for a fact that you were the prettiest girl he'd ever seen but after learning about your interest in cars and how fun your personality was, he was absolutely smitten.
Johnny: He was getting beat up by some Socs, when you came running in, and seeing the way you scared them off made him realize how fearless and beautiful you are. That's when he realized that he didn't want to be just friends.
Two-Bit: After he took you to the Curtis's house, you guys got to talking and he found that you were so much more interesting than anyone else he's ever met, that's when he realized he liked you.
