Miku's POV:

I groan and flop on my bed, squishing Hachune. I sit up and let her crawl into my hand. I don't let myself get too mad. MEIKO didn't know me and KAITO were a thing. But I can't help but be the least bit jealous.

I shake my hair from it's pigtails and poof into my White Dress outfit and stare up at Rin's bunk. I find myself doing that a lot lately. Then I hear Hachune pipe up. "Probably because it's the only place to look." Crap! Did I say that out loud? "Yes." I groan again and throw a pillow at her.

"Miku-chan?" I hear. I look up and see Mayu poking her head in the doorway. "I'm sorry to interrupt, but," she says in her small, shy voice. "We have a interview tonight. In about three hours. You should get ready soon. Goodbye." She closes the door.

We arrive at the place where they're holding the interview about 1 and a half hours later.

It is a giant room with while walls, brown carpetting, and a gold ceiling, occupied with several chandeliers. On one side of the room, is a long table with food and drinks on it. On the wall opposite of it, there is a HUGE stage. Like, huge. There is a long table on top of it with microphones, water bottles, and name tags telling everyone where to sit. And facing the stage are about a hundred fold-up chairs.

I notice that ECHO by Gumi is playing, for entertainment, I'm guessing.

We took three cars to get here, and ours got here first. So right now we were waiting for everyone else. And by 'we' I mean, Me, Rin, Luka, Teto, Neru, Haku, and Defoko. Only the 8 main VOCALOIDs were participating in the meetup. Everyone else just came to watch.

Hoping Zatsune didn't tag along, me and everyone else starts walking towards the back of the room, where the backstage door is. We flash our IDs and walk inside.

The backstage is basically a HUGE room with wires and cables and stuff haging from the ceiling. There is a few panels on one side of the room, with 3 TVs in front of them, for lighting and other special effects.

There are some other chair behind the ones in front of the panels, probably so the other vocaloids can watch.

There are A LOT of Vanities, which might hold costumes and wigs for other plays and stuff. And, again, there is a long table with food. I'm gonna be obese by the time I leave here.

I sit cross-legged on the floor behind, well, in front, of the curtain for the stage. The curtain is in the middle of the stage, so I can see the back half from here. There are 2 small staircases on either side of the stage, and some in front of the front half, too. I noticed when I walked inside.

I was giddy with excitment and nervousness. This was my first interview. I didn't know what to expect. Did Rin really post that picture of me and KAITO? Do they know we're a thing now? I hope so. I didn't really feel like telling everyone.

I notice everyone was already here. I search the room for Zatsune, who I, thankfully, didn't find.

KAITO catches my gaze for a minute and comes to sit next to me. "Nervous?" He asks. "A little. I'm excited too." I reply.

"Attention. Attention." A voice on the intercom says, "The Interview will be starting in approximately one hour."

The crowd claps as me, Rin, Len, Luka, KAITO, MEIKO, Gakupo, and GUMI walk onstage. I squint, (The bright lights blind me, though I should be used to it by now.) and walk to my seat.

I stare, frozen, at the crowd, forgetting I have to speak. Luckily, Rin speaks up. "Thank you so much for coming tonight. Anyone from the audience can ask questions. Let's get started! Iku yo!!!!" Everyone claps again.

A blonde American girl from somewhere in the back asks, "Why do you look so scared?" Instinctively, I start talking in American (shush, it's the future, we're robots, we can speak any language we want.)

I laugh a little and answer her question. "It's my first time," I say plainly. "Oh. Okay." She replies. "Next question?" I ask. This time, a girl near the front-looking no older than 7 or 8- says, "When will you and Len become a thing?" I can't help but blush. "When him and Luka break up," I laugh, showing it's a joke, and so does Len.

Next, a boy from the middle asks, "When will Project DIVA Arcade come out on playstation?" "I have no Idea." I admit.

A girl with long brown hair next to the blonde that went first says, "This one's for Luka and Len. WILL YOU MARRY ME." Everyone laughs. "Sure. We could have a threesome." Len replies. "WAIT WHAT YOU AND LUKA ARE A THING?!" "Oh. Crap. Luka answer this one."

"Yes, we are. Fangirls unite!" Luka says, and her and the girl both air highfive.

***

The rest of the night goes just like that. We get asked about 30 more questions, and none of them were about me and KAITO. Thank god. Either everyone already knows, or they just didn't ship me and him. Or were too shy to ask.

I flop on my bed again, careful to check for Hachune. Oh, how rude of me. I haven't told you who Hachune is. Well, she's basically the chibi version of me. She gets around by floating inside a teal cube, like Tako Luka. Except Tako's is pink.

Hachune is basically Neru. Without the phone. Sometimes I feel bad for Hachune. She doesn't really do anything.

It was 10:00 PM, and, surprisingly, everyone was pooped. It was only about 2 hours, but it seemed like a long day. Then an idea hit me. Right in the face. I could literally feel a lightbulb come out of my head. "GUYS!" I yell, throwing Rin off her bunk, and Luka is throw a pillow at me. I toss it right back at her.

"Whattttt." Rin groans. "We should go to the pool!" I exclaim.

Omfg I'm getting better at this long chapters thing lmao. And YES I have noticed there are a lot of lines stolen from Divergent. (btw it's a awesome series you have to go read it omf) but yeah. Also, THIS SONG IS BAE OMFG.
