When I was a kid my grandpa max use to tell me and my brother storys about when he was in the army. that inspired me and my brother nick. Now my bro always talked and played army.my bro was interestead in vilonce but not me. I cant see that we will actully join but I was up for it. 8 YEARS later

Chapter 2 the suprise

My brother is 24 now and im 18 my bro told me to join the army I said no!!! And then he told me he al ready signed me up and im like what the fuck .now im up for a challange and in the shit whole... A few seconds later my phone started to ring. It was my brother and and he said the army would take me in. I was so mad and scared.

Chapter 3 my good byes and farewells

I woke up and got out of my bed and mom was cooking bacon for breakfast. One big long sniff I was hungery I stepped out sat on the table and mom served breakfast. Mom said how you been. I said good.you know you have to taked a test tommarow at school.then it hit me. I was not going to be here tomarrow because the army is picking me up.i said in a firm voice mom. What she said.nick put me in the army and im going tomarrow.what!!!!!!!! Mom screamed no you are not. I cant quit I said. Mom balling with tears that could make a river.fine go just go!!!! Mom said.

Chapter 4 the army

I couldent sleep last night because I kept thinking. I got up and sat on the couch next to mom still with tears going down her face. She said when you join you have to know this. I said what .... She said a poem

Chapter 5 d day

Todays the big day that I would be in the shit hole of paridise. I went down the stairs to go see mom before I go. She was on the computer like nothing big was happening I walked to her and she said brendan [my name] when you go tell your bro that he is an asshole I looked at my mom as if she has never used such foul language I just looked at her and said ok. Then there was a sudden knock on the door mom stifly walked towards thr door hoping to ansewer it she opened the door and it was a nicely dressed man with a white glove. He said' im looking for a man named brendan eddards that was my name who could this man possibly be.im here to pick him up. And then I new it was time.

Chapter 6 there tough

I was waiting for mom to tell me it was time to go but she just let the man in he walked up towards me and put his hand out as if to shake my hand so I reached out to for his hand and he grabbed mine he gripped it tight and firm. He said are you ready I said no im not and then he called the gaurds from the bus they grabbed me by my arms and dragged me out the door. Mom crying I kept screaming I love you and I will make you proud.they threw me in the bus right next to the other rookies. As the bus drove away I looked at my house and imagined me and my brother playing army but now this is the real thing.

Chapter 7 the arrival

When the bus got there I was

nevous than some man got in the bus and started yelling at us he said my name is sgt. Hartmen your drill sgt. And I want you to stand up if you here your name jhonny givermen, markas diaz, brendan eddards. I heard my name but I did not stand up then the gaurds knew who I was so they came and stood me up and put me in the of my drill sgt.

He started to yell at me and his breath let out a stench that wreaked of onins and beef soup. He told me get on the ground and do 25 push ups I got down and he put his foot in my mouth his tall boots tasted of freshly polished rubber. As I excersised with a boot in my mouth I knew this would get harder. My drill sgt. Said thats enough he grabbed me and stood me up then I got back in line and we all left the bus.

Chapter 8 getting ready

As we went inside they gave us our dog tags one by one we walked threw a hall to a place were we had to get a shot and get some supplies

They would tell us what we needed then we got clothes and we all got our feet mesured the guy that mesured mine was tall me and hi

m started talking and he was quit nice

And then we got every thing started and done.

Chapter 9 boot camp

We started by getting in strait lines an he would teach us what to do. He would yell and yell at us and every one feared him he had beedy eyes and a big mustach and a light beard he put us in strait lines 28 on each side and was walking and yelling at every person who looked funny finaly he came to me and he said' hey lil' bastered dont you have a brother named nick. I started to think in my mined how did he know him and did he even know him. Well anwser me!!!! He said. my first response was !!!!!! Sir yes sir!!!!!!! He looked at me funny and said' your brother gave me alot of shit you better not do the same or I will unscrew your head and shit down your neck!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! As if he screamed loud enough I said sir yes sir!!!!!
