Chapter 18

The years seemed to simply flow on by. The kids all started getting older, going from small children to slightly bigger children. Their baby teeth all fell out and their adult teeth started growing in, their hair got longer and thicker, they all got taller, they all gained more weight, and their fashion choices and styles changed as they all grew as well. The babies of the families all got older too, going from small little humans to slightly bigger humans!

The families all grew too!

Fatima's step-mother, Aisha, ended up getting pregnant and giving birth to twins! A boy named Mustafa and a girl named Nooria. Now her family was slightly bigger and she was overjoyed to be a big sister. Fatima herself stayed the same as she did when she was 5, she had now seen a few more horror movies, as her room was starting to become filled with horror movie posters and small figurines of various horror movie characters.

Natsuo's family had grown slightly too, but not with the addition of a new baby or even a step-parent. Rather, him and his father, Goro, had gotten two new pets! A female spotted gecko that they named ' Godzilla ' and a female Hognose Snake they named ' Cupcake '. Natsuo's attitude changed slightly as he got older too, he went from being slightly moody and upset all the time to still moody but being a lot happier than ever.

Gary's family stayed relatively the same, the only newest addition being a male cat that his younger sister named ' Sunflower ' due to the yellow color of the cats eyes. Gary had taken a new hobby, and that hobby was Skateboarding! Of course, he had to be careful due to the fact that he was missing his right leg and wore a prosthetic. His mother always made sure he had his prosthetic on along with a helmet and knee pads as well.

Edgar's family stayed the same, the only difference was the quadruplets going from children to now 14 year old's in the 8th grade. Edgar grew too, not much taller than he was sadly, he went from 4'1 to 4'4 by the time he was in 5th grade now, his hair did get longer and thicker though! His older siblings all grew in size too, which made him feel very left out, he wanted to be taller too, and yet, he wasn't.

...And this made him the target of more and more bullying... And it wasn't going to get any better anytime soon

The bell rang throughout the school, echoing through the halls and bouncing off the lockers. Lunchtime had just ended and the children were all heading back to their classrooms.

Edgar and his small group of friends entered their classroom, they all equally felt themselves cringe as their eyes met the posted that loomed over their desks.

The poster itself was brightly colored with eye-bleeding colors, as if it was made on M.S Paint. The image on the poster was of a young child sitting in a desk, with arrows pointing at his eyes, mouth, hands, feet, and ears.

The poster itself had the words ' Keep your eyes on the teacher, keep your lips closed, keep still, don't move your legs, and keep your hands visible at all times. ' printed in big, bold letters that were also an eye-bleeding color of red and yellow.

" God... I hate that poster so much " Natsuo groaned out as he sat at his desk, shaking his head out of anger " Why does Ms. Harris even keep that in here? It's stupid! "

Fatima nodded in agreement " Yeah! It's stupid! Along with that color chart up there next to her desk! " She pointed at the color chart " It's just there for kids that... Don't do anything wrong, like us! "

Gary clapped in agreement " Yeah, but... What can we do? " He questioned " Ms. Harris is rude, she'll yell at us! We can't do anything against her! Especially cause she doesn't even say Edgar's name! What does she call you again? "
