Before summer Elizabeth was in love with Matt Sturniolo. Before summer she would do any thing he asked. Before summer she thought that the world only revolved around him. And before summer she went to every game of his and supported him.
Elizabeth had 'loved' Matt since they were both in kindergarten and Matt helped her up when she fell off the swing. She never paid any attention to anyone other then him. She didn't notice that when she got into high school, and had a major glow up, that she had turned almost every head in the school.
Everyone except his. Matt had always thought it was weird how much she liked him and he had never liked her back. He would always avoid her in the halls and make sure that his seat was never next to hers in a class. He even tried to get his and his brothers lockers moved from next to hers.
His brothers thought it was hilarious how she liked him and yet he didn't even talk to her. They did start to find it weird at one point too but they just continued laughing about it. All their friend group laughed because it was something to laugh at.
Once summer was a week away he started dreading it, knowing that there would be a girl on his door step every day asking if he could hang out.
No one knew that Elizabeth was going to her uncles all the way in California no one except her and her mom. It's just going to be her since she decided that no one really needed to know.
When the last day of school came she drove home as fast as she could home so that she could start packing.
