!Aries Pov!

Somehow I ended up at this gala the Greek gods decide to host, the one thing good about this place is the damn drinks other than that everything was so boring to me it felt like time decided to slow down at just the stupidest time! GAH! I need something to do!

I snatched a drink off the table, soon heading for the balcony, if I'm gonna be stuck here, I should at least look at something stunning rather than the boring dancing they're having the guests do, though I guess it is entertaining for the others it's the same bullshit all over again.

The moon was out, of course it was, so full and bright the sun could never be as beautiful. A sudden headache hits, must've been drinking to much, until I saw a sudden cry, then a plead and.. someone..? Who was she..? She seemed to be...crying?

As I tried to remember it all went black as all I saw was a young man, running from his house into the street towards...a market?

"Aadeel! Don't forget to pick up some bread on your way to the market for mother!"

Was that..my name..?

"Yeah yeah old man I'm not letting anyone starve on my watch!"

He bumped into a woman on his way out them crashing as the cattle were startled, a grunt from Aadeel, then he looked up an upset, and pouting Aakifah

"Oh..hey sis-.."

He got a hit on the head as he yelped slightly and pouted a bit, looking up at his sister "what did I tell you about running little man? I told you it was dangerous. Mother doesn't need another thing to worry about when you get beheaded by a pissed off guard"

"Yeah yeah you hah- ah!! Hey! Let go of my ear!!"

"Call me hag again and I'll smack you silly!"

Though she was mean and a bit sassy, she's caring, and those who bother trying to bother her family would have their whole blood line shaken up, that's how scary of an older sister she is, and we love her for it

"Okay okay! I have to be on the way, I'm going to the market to get food! Plus mother is getting sick as hell..so I better get going I don't want her to get hungry.."

A sigh left her lips as she lets his ear go and she held out her hand helping him up "than get doing, meet us before sunset, mother gets worried easily and you know that"

" Uh-huh, I will, I'll see you soon. Tell mother and Aariz to get some plates ready cause I'll bring home a damn feast! I wanna do a little something to celebrate the new year so I'll do my best to snag everything I can grab"

He started running, jeez I missed my young energetic body- I mean I'm still energetic but come on, I looked amazing and at my greatest at 17! Even tho I got- rags on me-

It was boiling out there, and walking around the market full of people didn't exactly help mind you, especially with everyone so ready for new years, I can't believe it passed so quickly, and it'll be the first the four of us would ever spend it without father so it definitely is a change, we didn't have enough money to cure his illness so of course he lost his life to it, we wear rags and our home is in shambles for fuck sake. I wish we lived a different life, where it wasn't so hard just to have enough food for the week

"Fresh bread everyone! Get some fresh baked goods! Get them while their still hot!"

My ears perked, and I turn to see the old sales man, the bread looked good and honestly I couldn't help but think of snagging it for myself. "I'll have 3 please~!"

A soft voice caught my ear as I got closer, she didn't seem like she was from around here, or so to say she was definitely not a commoner, she was dressed elegantly, hair done up with a pin holding up her hair out of her face, eyes a soft doe shape with blue, with a hint of green in them. Hair a dark brown and her skin was fair, I took in every little detail before she turned to me "oh hello, I'm sorry am I in your way?" I stumbled a bit before nodding hastily "ah! No! I-uh- well I was just looking at the bread, you aren't in the way I promise"
