3rd POV
Varun has been finding some information about the missing classmates of the school, by collecting data from various students in the school. But it didn't help his search very much.
Each student provided him with different and varying answers for each question Varun has answered. In the end, Varun has various theories about what could have happened to the missing students...
In the end, theories are all, that he got. He couldn't find the truth by himself at this pace.
"Feels like all have done is for naught " Varun sighed realizing he couldn't proceed further at this rate.
Varun has decided to find these answers from the woman, Kirari herself.
"What should I do, having a simple conversation with the woman is more complicated itself " Varun stated while sighing.
<Flashback...Where Kirari and Varun are children, and are in grade school>
3rd POV
"I finally won the rock, paper, scissors game with you " Varun replied with a prideful smile on his face.
"It's too bad I have lost...Let's play another game " Kirari asked him.
"Huh? I defeated you, so what's the point in playing again " Varun told her.
"Why do you think that, we aren't done here, mister...I still want to play with you more " Kirari whispered within his ears.
"You are a self-obssessed, narcissist, without any concern for other humans...Just like other rich people " Varun said with a disgusted expression on his face.
"Oh! Come on, you aren't a saint yourself....And I follow the laws of the jungle...It's called survival of the fittest " Kirari stated.
"You should've been born as an animal, if you wanted to follow 'The laws of the jungle'. " Varun mocked her.
"Varun, you intrigue me very much...It's so interesting to see someone who is not afraid of death and losing...Someone like you is just as insane as me " Kirari pointed.
"So you are a self-aware psychopath...that technically makes you a sociopath...That's not making this any better though " Varun complained.
"Coming to the main point. Let's play roll the dice, poker, and other gambling games " Kirari asked him.
"Don't you understand...I said I don't want to play with you " Varun said with no interest in her games.
"Believe me when I say this...I have my ways of making you gamble with me...So I suggest agreeing, without denial...I demand you to comply with my desires " Kirari said while holding Varun's neck by her fingers with eyes full of desire on her face
"You are one persisting woman. Fine then, I will defeat you again." Varun sighed.
<Flashback End >
Varun POV
Ever since then, I have yet to be defeated by Kirari...I have won against Kirari in every encounter...Due to my talent in the game of choices.
In the past, I have played several games where my life is at stake, so this school is nothing but a walk in the park for me...To be fair the rules and the gameplay of the gambling games are so easy, that I could win those as a child.
But I don't understand how I lost a simple video game battle to Runa so easily, just like that.
Is there any limitation to my luck...If so then what is it?
This is what I should uncover, and I should fix it.
Coming to Kirari, She has been persistent lately...Going as far as to have her council member follow me around.
It's expected she doesn't respect my privacy, but going as far as to regularly monitor me....It's safe to say she is obsessed with me.
<Meanwhile In the Student Council>
3rd POV
"So, Sayaka have you noticed his movements and found anything about Varun, yet, " Kirari asked Sayaka.
"Yes, Madam President...I have noticed that Varun is interested in knowing about our past student council members Aoi Mibumi, Sakura Miharutaki, Sachiko Juraki and the other missing students in our school " Sayaka informed Kirari.
"Hm...As predicted. He will always be attracted to the most dangerous things, that happen around his life. It's no wonder it is what makes him 'Varun sharma' Indeed. " Kirari stated with pride.
Sayaka felt a tinge of jealousy within her.
"Nyhahahaha...It seems like my player 2 prefers to play in higher difficulty...I am bored, I want to play with Varun...I am going to look for him " Runa said leaving the student council.
"But who in the right mind makes things more difficult for them...And Excuse me if I am wrong...But Is Runa prefer playing with Varun more than completing Student council work?... This must be the effect of playing video games " Kaede stated while pushing up his glasses.
"Geez....You sound like a Karen to me....Kaede " Midari stated.
"We are all tearing apart due to his presence," Yuriko said with a painful expression.
"I have invited him to have a gambling match with me, this week...So I am planning to defeat him...So don't worry guys " Yumemi stated with her idol's pride on her tone.
"Are you sure you won't be defeated by him...You could end up being a house pet if you do so " Kaede warned her.
Yumemi held her grip tightly...She is nervous, and took deep breaths to calm herself down.
"Haha...Even you are nervous...That's the effect of my God Varun " Midari fawned and she hugged herself with a lewd grin on her face while rubbing her legs off.
"You are behaving like one of those Yumemi fans " Yuriko pointed out.
"My fans aren't that bad, I swear " Yumemi tried to object. But her mind thinks otherwise.
"Anyways...It's rare to see Runa being so attached to someone...since Aoi " Kirari said.
"Who is Aoi? " Midari said confused.
"That's something better left unknown " Kaede stated.
"Aww... You are no fun " Midari complained.
"This is no funny matter " Kaede scolded her.
"Runa is right, Kaede Manyuda is boring... " Midari said while opening up her phone to see various pictures of Varun smiling in the background...
Midari took out those pictures without his knowledge... She would pay millions to see various expressions of Varun...Her beloved God, with her as his fanatic follower.
