Trust

It has been a normal day for Marinette Dupain Cheng or as normal as it can get for a 17 year old teenager heroine who has been fighting a supervillain from her late 13 . Of course alongside with her partner Chat noir.

She could have imagined worst scenarios in her life but getting caged in a cat trap was not in her daily check in list . No, it was not at all what she had imagined her day to be. So Now she is in a literal cat trap designed specifically by Prison Mistress, which was now is standing just behind her.

It has been just a normal day and she was in a fight with akuma but after so much running and chasing she has to go for a recharge. But coincidentally Chat Noir just had to land beside her just when she was going to transform.

Apparently the new akuma was a pet shop worker who was angry on her boss who not only doesn't appreciate her job of feeding and cleaning after pets or pests you can say (her words not mine because I adore pets). And on top of that  he even dared to kick her out for asking for a salary raise that she so much deserved. And now she was on her mission to transform every Parisian citizen into a pet and keeping them in locked cells. She has followed chat to where they were now and had got locked  into this "cat cage" specifically made for our Parisian superhero cat as he is the only cat in the world she adores .

Now on roof of one of the tallest building stuck in a cat trap (again how did they get into this position).
Whereas our Prison Mistress was on the search of her boss , waiting for ladybug to show up. Other problem was that Chat's transformation was to run out as he only have 5 minute left after using his cataclysm .

" What are we gonna do " Marinette asked " You are going to transform soon."

"I just have to transform again " Chat replied.

"Wha...."

"Listen Marinette I trust you and also there are no witness here aside from of cource you but I trust you. I have to take the risk. Ladybug is waiting for me" Chat cut her off.

"But" Marinette suddenly felt guilty from the amount of trust he was putting on her even in her civilian self .She was the ladybug , she should be there in his place but no she was trapped in her civilian form instead of helping.

"Look Marinette we have no other options Prison Mistress should be here any minute we have to do it now and I trust you ." Chat was saying but Marinette was feeling more guilty about all the things she have kept secret to herself that she should be trusting her partner with.

"Marinette" she heard.

" What" she asked getting out of her own suffocating cell of secrets.

"Are you alright" he asked looking worried .

Even in this conditions he was worried about her." Yes ,yes I will just turn around or whatever do you want me to do?" she asked in her clumsiness . "I will just turn around"

After transforming back and getting them out of there. As Chat was leaving she asked the one question that was bothering her .
"Chat do you trust ladybug"
"Yes ,more than my life. why?" Chat asked.

"Oh! nothing just... I want to say ladybug
care about you too" she said.
"I know even if she is always pushing me away she still care about. l just hope she could trust me one day with her problems " Chat said. " Oh! this cat has to fly away now, my lady should be waiting for me . Don't want to take chances you know"

"Bye Chat" she said in whisper for only her ears to hear .Was she doing right thing by not telling him all the secrets all the things that  happened till now . Chat blanc , her knowing his identity. Yes, she have known it for a long time it had made her feelings hard to control but she was over from that phase now.

Was she not trusting him . No that was not the case, she was not trusting herself that she would be able to protect him, her Chat, her first and true love from the future where they had known about there identities.

She somewhere fear that she would be the cause of that future, and those lonely eyes they will always haunt her. She would not let that happen even if she have to die suffocate by this cage of secrets.

Anyway now was not the time for all of this, her Chat was waiting for her , afterall they have an akuma to fight.
