Chapter Two: A Lifetime of Waiting

(A/n: Hi so sorry I haven't updated in a while but I have been really busy lately. I will try to be updating like twice a week once I am back from my trip. I am so sorry you had to wait so long but I really hope you enjoy this chapter! Please excuse any grammar mistakes. I will try to proofread but there might still be a couple mess ups.

Y/n POV:

I lay down in bed, thinking about what it would be like if I got the role on stranger things. I wondered if the cast would even like me. In the past I have had incidents with co-stars not liking me and trying to get me fired. Luckily, that never actually happened. Though of course the producers, and staff members always enjoy my company and my being. 

After some time of just laying there thinking about all of this, I get out my air pods and listen to music. As I listen I check all of my social medias. Since the media found out I was auditioning for Stranger Things, I had gained over 5,000 followers on Instagram. I had 22.6 million followers. I have a lot of fans I guess. Sometimes when I am bored I like to go look at some of my fan pages. So that's what I did. I found one called: y/n_l/n.lover159. I scrolled through and saw mostly pictures of myself and edits people had made of me. Occasionally I will follow a fan page and send them a dm. I liked this one so I clicked the follow button and then sent them a message.

Dang I hope they answer. I decide to put my phone away and go to sleep. I have to wake up early to go to set to continue shooting Sydnee to the Max. 

*Time skip to morning*

I wake up to my alarm blaring. I shut it off as I climb out of bed. I walk into my bathroom and wash my face. Afterwards I brush my teeth. Finally I take out my hair and it is very wavy. I picked out a light blue pair of ripped skinny jeans and a purple crop top to wear. I go downstairs to get something for break feast. I decide on eating a scrambled egg. When I am finished eating I go back up to my room. I put my phone in my purse, grab a sweatshirt, and head out the door, after saying goodbye to my parents of course. I get into my tesla and begin to drive to work. When I get there I pop a piece of gum into my mouth so my breathe will still be minty. I go right to my trailer and put my stuff down. I sit on the couch in there while I wait for them to call people to set. 

"Y/n L/n and Storm Reid to the set please!" they say over the intercom. I walk to the makeup trailer to get my hair and makeup done. After that I get my costume on and I walk to the set. I already have all of my lines memorized. 

*Time skip to after the scene* 

"And cut!" A loud voice says. It only took us 12 tries to get the scene right! It was actually pretty quick. I walk back to my trailer. I take off my makeup and throw a hoodie on. I go to the community room to hangout with the rest of the cast. We sit there and talk for a while. Then work ends. I get my purse from my trailer then go to my car. On my way home I stop by the store to get some more socks. I go straight to my room when I'm home and sit on my bed. I painted my nails (your favorite color). I still haven't received a call which I am kind of sad about. Though it is only the first day since I sent in my tape. 

*Time skip to the next day*

I have work off today. Which I am so excited about! I am going to the mall with Olivia. I get myself ready. The outfit I chose for the day consists of  light pink sweater and black mom jeans.

*Time skip to after the mall because I'm lazy* 

I ended up getting a new sweatshirt and a pair of really cute flower earrings. When I got home I decided to binge watch my favorite show. Ginny and Georgia. I sat on the couch watching when suddenly my phone started ringing. I picked it up and answered. At first I was forgetting the fact that I had been waiting for a call from the duffers so I wasn't expecting what came next. 

"Hi is this y/n l/n?" The man asks over the phone. I am so excited! I really hope I got the part!!

"Uh yes this is she!" I say excitedly. I try not to sound too desperate though. 

"Well hello this is Ross Duffer. I am calling to inform you that you got the part of Claire Thomson on Stranger Things! We think you're an amazing actress and we'd be honored to have you on our show!" He says enthusiastically. THIS IS THE BEST NEW EVER!!!!!!! I AM GONNA MEET NOAH SCHNAPP!!!!!!! 

"Oh my gosh! Thank you so much Ross I am so excited!" I squeal into my phone. My heart is racing right now! 

"Yay! I am so happy to here that! You will receive an email with all of the details soon. Can't wait to meet you!" He says. 

"Thank you! And you as well!" I say and hang up the phone. I run downstairs to tell my mom the good news. 

*Time skip to late at night because yeah*

I am laying in bed watching Netflix on my laptop. Suddenly I hear a chime from my phone. I check what it is and I see an email from the Duffer brothers. It says I will fly to Atlanta the day after tomorrow. I facetime Olivia to tell her the news. After being on the phone with her for about one hour we hang up and I go to bed. 

*Time skip to morning*  

I wake up and eat some break feast. My character in Sydnee to the Max had to be that in the show I moved away. They had to do this since I am leaving and won't be able to work with hem anymore. Which makes me Kinda sad. I pack my suitcase for Atlanta. I spent the entire day with my family since I won't see them for a long time. We all went out for dinner that night to celebrate. That night I was crying a bit because it is so hard to have to say goodbye to my family. I drift to sleep eventually though.

(A/n Hi! I was wrong. I as bale to get a part out today before I leave tomorrow. I hope you enjoyed this chapter. I know its boring but I have some really good ideas for the next one. I know this chapter wasn't very long but the next one will be better.
