I had first joined Tinder out of sheer boredom. Being an average student all my life , I was scared as to which company would offer me a job, what would I bring to their table. I was always that one kid who was in her own dream world. Imagining day in day out scenes, scenarios, situations which I knew would not ever translate to reality. This was my coping mechanism towards the harsh reality, reality which you would not consider very harsh if you compare it to other Wattpad heroines but it is what it is.
Leaving home at 18, to pursue bachelor's degree in technology made me realise if I am this far from home , leaving the luxury of it for a degree then I must give it my all. Fast forward of four years and I got placed with the highest package , was happily single at the time and bored out of my mind.
I installed tinder on one condition,I would not meet anyone,just chat and relax. I always loved talking to new people, meeting new people, hanging out with them , sharing life stories,hence tinder seemed a nice place to do so.
After a few months covid struck and I had to move back home, uninstalled tinder because I was always busy in household work,last minute college work, taking care of my then bed ridden mother , reading Wattpad stories and getting lost in them.
