At Metropolis High School
Social status is one of the many things that human society has had for many centuries. The names have changed but this hierarchy has always existed. And there is no better example of this representation of this than high school. Every school has a hierarchy and in that hierarchy, there is what is commonly known as a Queen Bee. A female that excels more than any other in some field or another. Her beauty and dominion are usually unquestionable by the rest of the school body, be it students or teachers. In Metropolis High's gym, one can see the Queen Bee of the school.
She stood tall with a flawless hourglass figure and lightly tanned skin. Her long golden hair was tied in a ponytail, and her eyes were deep amber like those of a predator just waiting for its next meal. She wore the school's gymnastics uniform which showed off her amazing legs and hugged the rest of her body like a second skin. She ran towards the springboard and jumped high, executing two flawless turns in the air, before landing with a grace similar to that of a wild cat.
All the girls and the coach gather to congratulate her. Even though she was certain of the result from the start.
Girl#1: "That was amazing Barbi, you are sure to become captain once more,"
Said one of the girls to the now-named Queen Bee.
Barbi: "Yes, that was to be expected,"
Barbi said, her arrogance cemented with a British accent.
Barbi: "After all, I wasn't the one that fell on the finals,"
She tacked on, adding insult to injury.
Girl#2: If you keep vaulting like that, we might win gold this year.
Barbi: Well, it wasn't me who fell on the uneven bars.
Coach: Nice work, Barbi. Maybe your cleanest vault yet.
Barbi: Good. Then, if it's settled, and I'm captain again, let's get one thing clear...
Coach: Hang on. I think there's one more girl. Diana Prince.
Barbi: Ugh, the new girl.
Diana: Lift me, Boreas. Let your wintery breath keep me aloft.
Coach: Prince!
Coach: Maybe we should have co-captains this year.
Diana rose from her kneeling position, taking in a deep breath. With the strength and speed of a goddess, Diana charged forward. She did a cartwheel before landing on the springboard. She jumped high above the onlookers, performing three summersaults before landing with a grace unlike any they had ever seen. All the girls, save Barbi, went over to congratulate Diana on her flawless jump.
Barbi, for her part, was not happy one bit.
