Hey guys! Great news! I'm alive :D I haven't been updating this past week because of this play my school was putting on (Mary Poppins) and it was a lot of work and I had a crap load of assignments as well. But here I am so lets continue. (Also I'm thinking of doing a Christmas special so leave a few ideas in the comments for what it should be about).

Lily's P.O.V.

Lily lay down under her covers at four in the morning, playing with her wand. She had already been at Hogwarts for almost three months but she still could not believe she possessed magical abilities, something that she, her sister and her parents all thought was impossible for a long time.

She sighed sadly at the thought of her sister. The last time she had talked to her, she had been called a freak. There was no doubt Petunia was still upset with Lily. She had always been rather stubborn, but Lily was seriously thinking of writing her a letter though the more she thought of it, the more she realized it would just make things worse. If Petunia wanted to talk to her, she would have written to her by now.

As for her issues with Potter and his friends, Lily was trying her best to avoid talking to that arrogant toe rag. Hopefully, when they both graduate in six years they would never have to speak to each other again.

Lily grabbed a book from her bag, "The Tales of Beedle the Bard". She had grown up with stories of Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, The Little Mermaid, but this book held all kinds of other magical fairy tales that were far more interesting than the ones the muggles had come up with. She was about to open the book when she heard one of her dorm mates moan.

Lily jumped up from below the covers to see who had woken up. The room was pitch black but as Lily's eyes adjusted she saw one of her best friends, Marcy, sitting on her bed, her eyes dead looking, staring at nothing in particular.

"Marcy?" Lily questioned.

No response.

"Marcy?" Lily said, a little louder this time.

Not even a blink in response.

Lily got out of bed and tip toed over to Marcy, who was still looking as lifeless as a doll. Lily shook her a few times, but she kept staring.

"Marcy, what's wrong?" asked Lily.

Marcy turned her head to look at Lily. Her dead eyes staring into Lily's, then stood up and began to walk out of the room, her wand in her hand. She whispered "Lumos" And the tip of her wand lit up, she then proceeded to walk down the stairs and into the common room.

At this point, Lily knew something was wrong. Marcy was not a sleep walker. She stood up as well and began to run after her, lighting up the tip of her wand as she followed.

The two went through the portrait hole and down the stairs of Gryffindor Tower. Lily was certain a professor would find them, but it didn't matter. Her friend was obviously in trouble.

"Marcy? Marcy!" She whispered "What's gotten into you?"

There was a faint green glow coming from Marcy's chest. As she turned around to face Lily, her eyes were shining a bright green. She raised her wand and muttered "imperio".

Lily dodged the curse at the last second. Staring at her friend in bewilderment.

"W-what curse was that?" Lily asked. "We haven't studied that yet!"

Marcy's lips curled into an evil smile and she spoke in a terrifying voice which was not of her own.

"Turn back now Mudblood, or suffer the consequences"
