We'll see the light again

CHAPTER5

Every time i see her smile, i get this warm feeling in my chest. I want to know, what is this that i'm feeling? I never felt anything like this before. 

''You are making me very confused''

I say to her, but in respnse i only get a soft snore from her. Wich was so cute. 

''Goodnight''

I wisper to her and fall asleep myself.

THE NEXT MORNING

KATE'S POV

When i wake up, the car is already moving. 

''Good morning''

Says Ben with a sweet voice. 

''Goodmorning, did you even sleep?''

I ask, still sleepy.

''Yes, i slept a little''

.

For the rest the day nothing really interesting happened. We didn't even really talk. Was it because of the kiss? Maybe. 

''Are we going to talk about it?''

He asks, not looking at me. 

''Talk about what?''

''The kiss?''

''There's nothing to talk about''

''So, you're telling me, you felt nothing, nothing at all?''

''I-i don't know'' ''I felt something, but i don't know if it's what you expect''

''Then let's find out''

He says while stopping the car. 

''What are you-''

I can't finish my sentence as he presses his lips on mine. Unlike yesterday, this kiss is rough and full of neediness. I almost kiss him back, but then again there's the same voice in my head. He pulls away. 

''So, really, nothing?''

''I don't think i can be with you because of what you did''

''But i never wanted to do any of those things''

''I know, but you still killed my best friend, wich is something i can't JUST get over''

''Alright, i respect that''

He starts driving again. Not talking to me anymore.

THE NEXT DAY

''Katelyn wake up''

I wake up because of Ben shaking me. 

''What?''

''We're here''

''Oh i-i'm up''

I rub my eyes to keep myself awake. 

''Ok, then let's go''

I open the car door and was about to get out, but he grabs my hand and pulls me back in. 

''What?''

I ask in confusion.

''It's full of soldiers, how do you plan on getting in there?'' ''Stay here''

He picks up his gun and leaves. 

BEN'S POV

I take my gun and get out of the car. I sneak up to the enterence of the building. It's only guarded by one soldier. I walk up to him.

''Hi!''

I hit him in the head with my gun, before he can even react. He immediately black's out. I take a look arounf to see if anyone saw me. Once i make sure of that, i drag him to the car. Luvkliy the guy is pretty short and thin so, my plan should work. 

KATE'S POV

I wait a few minutes until Ben returns with this unconcious dude. 

''What is this?''

I ask, tottally freaked. 

''He, i believe is Dave''

He says as if it's nothing. 

''Is he dead?''

''No, just unconcious''

He says while undressing him.

''And now you will be him''

''No''

I say as i realize what his plan is.

I get out the car, after i'm done changing in the uniform. 

''Shut up''

I say as he is about to laugh at me because the uniform is a little too big for me.

''I'm only doing this for my parents''
